Sunday.. the weather is nice.. not to hot for a change... When we get weather like that... below 90 for a few days - we really like it here... some jokingly say they need a jacket, people are out and about and most everyone is smiling... until the next heat wave.
Getting ready for my iron infusion next week... in a meantime, tons of coffee keep me going.
Spending the last couple of days with my BF is great. We seams to be able to communicate on some many non verbal levels - that it is even a bit scary,,,,

Eats this weekend are good, if not great... Friday and Saturday I was able to keep my net carbs below 40 without feeling deprived or hungry.  Today will be the same day.  And yet have no problem making my BF muffins, serving him noodles, etc.  for most times - my carb addiction is well under control.

Today eats:
coffee + almond milk
protein/ flax muffin
bacon+ mushroom+ cheese omelet, tomato, etc.
left over Chinese + other meats + veggies
protein shake (somewhere in the middle of the day)
dinner - not sure... but some meat + veggies

I would do the same thing.   Good that you have other choices available.

Happy Friday.  It is raining here. Even my cat did not go out this morning. Yesterday she wondered out and I forgot to leave a window open for her... the next thing  - she was sitting on by the window... wet... poor thing... I let her inn and she made sure i knew she was not impressed. This morning - she stuck her nose out - realized it is raining, turned around and went back to sleep.   I felt like doing the same, but went to work instead.
with the low air pressure - my blood pressure is lower than normal and I have a hard time managing... o well.

eats today:
coffee+ almond milk
5 min protein cake (take 1 egg, mix with 1 tsp of almond milk, add sweetened, then add 1 scoop of protein powder + 1/2 tsp of backing powder . nuke for 2 min. . enjoy).
flax muffin
burger + cucumber
protein shake
dinner - not sure , going out most likely.
additional snacks - if needed - cheese, more of the 5 min protein cake.

this morning to the momma Ferrel cat and her 4 kittens. It was half a ribeye steak! But they are so hungry and being so, they almost come up to you. Guess I'll have to go to the galley and get the baked chicken. I work on a navy hospital installation so food is not hard to get to.

Thanks!
I was reading that cottage cheese isn't really something that we should eat on this diet (hate saying diet). Anyway, I get the 2% and it has 6gms of carbs per serving. What is your input?

Bovril is a beef concentrate.  Looks like Marmite or Vegemite, black and tasty.   Spread it on toast or bread, use it in gravies or make it into a beefy drink.  Sought after by expats the world over!
