This is my lower cal week so I must stay strong.  I've done well so far.  Plenty of plain water.  Carbs at induction level and ratios are right on target as well.  I have a desert and beverage remaining for tonight.  Please let me do right and stick to plan.

Your dinner looks very very yummy indeed!  Can't beat topping something with salsa and sour cream!  (I may have to do that for my eggs tomorrow morning.)

I must say, even though I'm not losing right now I really do enjoy the Atkins way of eating.  Today's lunch was a quesadilla with guac, and my colleagues nearly fell over themselves with envy that this was my diet lunch LOL

Here's my day. I haven't had dinner yet, but it's planned and it's yum so I know I'll eat it.

B. 2 oz ham, 1 hardboiled egg
L. chicken thigh and 1/2 cup of asparagus
S. String cheese and 2 Nip's caramel candy - 12 carbs
D. 3 oz ground beef, scrambled egg over it w/1T salsa, 1T sour cream

Calories - 744
Protein - 71
Carbs - 18

A little low on the Protein today. Will up it tomorrow. Just trying to keep calories down for a few days to see how I do.

I think our little group is rockin and I so appreciate the support along the journey!

Jean, your food always looks terrific!  We don't get that carbmaster yogurt around here.  What kind of protein bars are you eating?  Are they homemade?

Yum Yum Yum.   I'm on my way!!  I figured that with your HoundHubby gone, you wouldn't mind a bacon slurpin guest for breakfast!  I have a pound of thick applewood bacon in the fridge.  I could cook it up and bring it along!  :)

Okay folks, here's the damage for the day:  1400 calories, 85 gm protein

B:  Eggs hollandaise with spinach, coffee with heavy cream

S:  Cheese wedges

L:  Low-carb tortilla quesadilla with guacamole, and a handful of popcorn with my students

S:  Sliced edam, protein shake

D:  Something with ground turkey, not sure yet what it will be!

I have that ketone-ish taste in my mouth, so hoping this means progress.  Been at a stall for about three weeks now, bleh!
