So why does it take 3 days to de-carb and just 1 carby meal to re-carb? :)
Good to see you! A lot of boards are very quiet now...
Congrats on doing the Atkins - it really is the way to go, but you can't go back to your old eating after you lose the weight (yes, I'm talking from experience here!) I did it several times pre-WLS, went back to my old ways and gained it back very fast...

Well I maintained the Atkins WOE for the first four weeks and managed to go down. The last 2 weeks have been total hell. Went off and ate carbs and am having trouble breaking the monster. Have the grands and cook for them and a bite goes in here and there and that sets off the carb crazies. EERRRRR!
hard 20 off.
Sorry, but I did have RNY 3 years ago, lost about 120 with that then another 20 with low carb after it seemed that I was stalled.
Maintaining with a low carb/paleo lifestyle. Eating like a viking and all blood work good - yeah!

Atkins has helped me loss 50 pounds this year while I was going thru
the stress of getting my band out and all the medical issues from it.
Also I don't know if I will get anything to replace it so am fighting on.
As of today I weigh less than my lowest with the band.
If so are you;
Not getting WLS?
Waiting to have WLS?
Have had a failed WLS and are trying to have another?
