Thank you.

I am hoping that the surgery will help me lose and keep it off (like everyone else I guess).  I just have not been able to stick with anything so I am so scared to fail.

At the moment I'm into potraiture and life drawing (naked ladies - men as well, but I don't seem as interested!)  My plan is to be painting watercolour portraits by the summer as I've a Portraiture in Oils Course which starts in December.  I have been asked to do portraits for people in work, but I lack the confidence.  All the life-drawing groups I know of are about 50 miles from me, so I don't get much practice except from photographs from the internet.  After the Oil Painting course I would like to explore Silverpoint as a portraiture medium, as used by Leornado.  I've no interest in landscape or botanical painting - the human animal interests me.  I'm also thinking of upgrading to a degree in photography, again my interest is in people and their relatioship to the world.  I have used infra red film at a friend's wedding to give them an unusual present and would like to take infra red portraiture further.  Aren't things strange over on this side of the pond!

Thanks guys!  Starting today, will add in fat, drop the fruit, count the carbs & start walking more.  I'm drinking tons of water.  Will go & get some probiotics!  Thanks for all the advice!  Will see what this does!

Ronda Roo -- You rock!  Thank you for waking up the Crack of Dawn to post this!

I've got a moderate-carb day planned.  PMS-ing (sorry for TMI) and giving myself a few complex carbs to stabilize the demons, and hoping to shed a lot of inflammatory weight once a few days have passed.

still, starting the day with

eggs hollandaise with spinach
fake bacon
and probably a lot of protein shakes along the way BUT ...

a piece of high-fiber bread in my lunch (gasp) and will see what THAT does!

Interested in low-carb nutrition?  Thinking of trying Atkins? Want to try high-fat and/or high-protein eating?  Whether or not you have had (or are thinking about) WLS   http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/atkins/
