Just getting home so here's my eats.  No super bowl for me so no temptation.  Got my house cleaned then met someone for a movie.

Morning:
2 oz ground beef
1 scrambled egg
1 oz Cabot aged cheddar
all in a scramble

Midday:
3 T cream cheese
1/2 cup blueberries
2 oz chicken breast w/ 1/4 egg and light mayo
pork rinds

Evening:
4 oz chicken breast
3 kalamata olives

Calories - 976
Protein - 98
Carbs - 20

Those blueberries upped my total carbs but they were so yummy!

Here was my take:

eggs hollandaise with lox and spinach -- couldn't fini**** wasn't feeling well
coffee with evaporated milk
fried cheese and ajvar
peanut butter
chicken in pepper sauce, low-carb tortilla, guacamole, salad veggies

and .....

part of a huge apple, I swear it was the size of a grapefruit, and four of us had it for desert -- totally worth it!

Traditionally, Italian Wedding soup has little meatballs, in a broth with fresh escarole or spinach and an egg and parmesan mixture that is stirred in at the last minute.

But I cheat and make it with Italian sausage because it makes a wonderful broth, is just as good, and it's a lot easier.

For the sake of carbs it is better because in order for meatballs to be soft and not like ping pong balls, they should have bread or breadcrumbs in them.

Good morning everyone!

I am doing so much better with my healthy way of eating this year -- and it is ALL thanks to all of YOU.  Truly, being able to see how other people eat, and WHAT they eat -- it has helped me tremendously.  I've tried so many great new products, and lots of great new recipes.  Do we have great cooks here, or what!

Today, I have not planned well -- ate a good breakfast in advance of my grocery shopping (the Sunday morning chore) so that I don't impulse shop.  So today I started with (drumroll please) eggs hollandaise with spinach and lox!!!!  I realize this is a shock to all of you, since it's exactly what I've eaten for breakfast every morning for the last six weeks -- but hey!

What are you eating today, on game day?

I would think the theory makes a lot of sense.  If you front load, you will work it off during the day and not need as much at the close of the day.

But, like you, I seem to want to eat more at night.  I wonder if that is because we are relaxing in a more unstructured way the our otherwise structured day.

I really need to make new habits for evening time.
