I keep hearing about those flourless peanut butter cookies, and for sure I'm going to go make myself some in a moment!

Hey folks, watch been eatin' today?

On an ANGRY eating note -- I just got ticked for parking in an expired spot -- though there was plenty of time left on the meter -- came home and chomped down on crunch nuts ..... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ....

Anyway I myself was all low-carby and high-proteiny delicious until I got angry ... the nuts will put me over my low-carb limit, but at least I didn't do a great deal of damage ....

How'd you do this fine Monday?

"Sue's Sandwiches"

Bake 1 oz mounds of cheddar cheese until they bubble and just begin to brown.
(oven 375 deg. -  must use parchment paper!!!) Allow them to cool down. Remove from parchment paper.

Take one cheese round and put mayo or whatever dressing you prefer and top with cold deli meat. Fold in half (like a taco) and enjoy!!!

I like putting horseradish sauce and cold peppered eye of round deli beef on mine  Awesome!!!

The options are unlimited!

A few ideas:

chicken/cheese club
chicken/green chili w/ spicy jack cheese
turkey/bacon/avocado on cheddar or jack
ham and cheddar w/ dijon mustard
tuna/mayo/tomato
monte cristo - turkey, ham, muenster w/ sugar-free strawberry jam
cuban - roast pork, swiss and sugar-free pickles

Okay, gotta quit cuz my mouth is watering! ;-) Let me know what other ideas you can come up with!

Thank you all for the great and thoughtful responses.  I appreciate every one of them!  True to what you all said, it was not a lasting event.  After my "super thirsty" day, it has kind of evened out.  I am drinking what I typically do (around 84 oz per day) and have been just fine since that day.

I think it is the way we were raised.  Most of were raised by having a large family dinner in the evening.  Just think of the Cleavers, Brady Bunch, Etc.

Topic: RE: Sunday CARb Accountability Roundup -- Isn't There a Game Today?
I did fairly well yesterday considering all the food that I put out for the game. I think I'm gonna suffer today though because I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. Went to bed at 10 - woke up at 1 and could not go back to sleep. Grrrr...I hate nights like that!!! That is when I could use some carbs...they do help to make me sleepy! Anyone have any suggestions for sleepless nights???

hides my face, peeking through fingers--did fine eating on Saturday--did fine most of sunday--made a slip and kept on going down that slope. Super Bowl temptations. Not a complete loss---Big Ben was sacked HARD a few times--that was so mint!!!

Yesterday morning, I was 80 --- purple on the pee stick. Not even going to look at it today, as I'm sure last night's party binge kicked me out completely. I'm doing meat and fat today (no cheese) staying as close to no carbs today to see if I can be back in ketosis tomorrow. Here we go, again.
