Can't believe I'm not losing weight by having nothing but tea, and egg custard. But my head is still so stuffed, that I'm sure that's where all the weight must be lurking (not that I'm a fathead or anything like that .......)
Anyway, what's your plan for the day? ORRRRRRrrrr ...lf you've already finished your day (because you're living so far east that you're on another continent from me, hint hint ...) what did you eat?
(Alcohol does the same thing to me -- stalls loss and sometimes even generates gain, even if it's a small amount).
BRAVO!!!
Can you please post the calories/carbs/protein/fiber on those bars. I'd love to know what they are. I've given up bars since starting atkins but would be interested.

Watching the scale move is so motivating. I'm so happy for you! I too am in the "whatever it takes to get to goal" mode.

I do add flax meal to my yogurt, burgers, meatloaf, salmon cakes, stews -- you name it... It use that as a binder - filler. You do not need much - I use that instead of bread crumbs or other fillers.
In raw form - do not exceed 2-3 Tbs per day. Some study shows more than that a day, every day can be toxic. Once it is cooked - it is fine. But too much - and not enough water - may "block you", if you know what I mean. Start slowly. It is the most gentle fiber for my insides.
In stews - etc do not add a lot - it may get a bit "slimy" so add little at a time until you get used to the taste and consistency. (maybe 1 tsp? - small -to 1 cup of food)
I will make a list of my "costco" foods.
BTW: they have great blackberris... at least in my area, small cucumbers, peppers, etc. I preffer organic food, but once in a while... will get the "normal" stuff from Costco.
BTW: now Costco has nut bars on sale. All natural - Trio Bars. They only have they once or 2 times ayear (not sure why??) they are now $11 (from $15) for 20 bars. They are bit high on carbs, but those carbs do not bother me. Since they are nut bars, no chocolate - they keep great anywhere - in a car, in my purse, in my desk... etc. Sometimes I need something quick to bring my sugar up, or just a bite when I get really hungry and forgot to eat, I would get 1/2 bar.
They are sweet - so it is a nice dessert for me, if I really need something sweet, but good and natural.

These are on my "must" list from Costco:
Organic Eggs
Fage Yogurt
Rotisserie Chicken - which I'm sick of
Tail Off Frozen Medium size shrimp
Organic Butter
Canister of Shredded Parmesean Cheese
Harris Ranch Post Roast
Cabot Aged Cheddar Cheese - so yummy
Organic Blueberries when they have them
Sometimes the pork chops which I then freeze in zip lock bags to thaw a couple at a time.
Organic ground beef but the taste isn't all that great. I need to try it again as I love burgers.
I can't remember what else.
I got a Harris Ranch Tri Tip that I'm going to try this week.
I do get the 4oz individually frozen tilapia but find that it doesn't have much flavor so they sit in the freezer for awhile.
Maybe I'll give the flax meal a try. I don't eat soup but i could add it to yogurt to get in some fiber. I may even have some in the freezer.
I'm also a huge fan of Trader Joe's as things come in smaller packages there.
