Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss

In the past there were days that I may have 2 per day. Plus other foods. No wonder i put on the extra 5-7 lbs.
This board is great to make us look more critically at the numbers.
BTW: the other thing I always get from Costco is the canned chicken breast. Check that out - if you have not yet.

BTW: when I do not feel like eating, and or get a bit of "something is not right" feeling, drinking protein drinks, and eating yogurt will lhelp a lot. I make sure that I get app 100gr proteins per day minimum... and the vitamins. Plus water. I learn not to force the food. I gained some lbs - and even though that looks OK on me, I can lose 5 lbs...and still feel great. (acctually that is the goal)
So today plan is:
coffee
cheese (didn't snot sit right... so the rest of the day take it easy)
protein shake + coffee
yogurt + proteins + Flax meal
1/2 apple (large apple)
D: not sure how will I feel but I have cheese, smoked salmon, fruits..
A bite of 2 and my body will tell me if I can have that. if not -- I will make a nice protein ice cream... + whip cream.
Total carbs: probably no more than 30-40. calories? who cares? (but definitely ~1400 or less)

Cut yourself a little slack. Even as a two year post op and long term low carber, I have hungry days more often than I'd like. You're probably accustomed to eating more volume. Low carb is not automatically hunger free but the preceeding suggestions can help.
It will be so much easier after your procedure. Looking forward to welcoming you to the looser's bench.

Hey low carbers, its been a minute. Life has gotten in the way of posting but I'm still doing what I need to do and trying to get where I need to be.
Got a little boost from a trip to the ralph lauren store. I finally fit the size I've been wanting in some jeans. Don't want the jjeans, just want them to fit, lol.

I've changed my eating plan. Things are not moving and I need variety so its time to shake things up. Keeping carbs low but adding more veg and no longer keeping fats at min 50%. Most likely I'll do this for a two week cycle then switch up again.
Fingers crossed things will start moving in the right direction again. Keeping my calorie average for the month at my desired weight. C'mon goal minus ten!

But - Greek yogurt is great. As long as it is plain. And for the low carb diet - 2% of full fat is best.

2 scrambled eggs and 1 oz cheddar cheese
3 ozs stilton butter and 4 Ryvitas
2 lamb burgers
2 Atkins bars
Coffee and fruit teas, might treat myself to a 37 calorie hot chocolate drink...
No weight change, so I'm back on cheese. No chocolate cravings when I eat 4 ozs of any cheese a day...makes sooooo much sense LOL
Have a great weekend!
My plan (and we'll see how this works out, as you can see from my poor follow-through yesterday):
3 eggs hollandaise
greek yogurt
quesadilla with low-carb tortilla, cheese, and avocados that a friend brought over, ripened on her tree
coffee with cream and/or protein shake
and a big dinner -- veggie soup, chicken, asparasgus, carrots, and possibly BNANAAAAAAA
but we'll see! Might treat myself to a glass of red wine, to boot!
