Honestly, Paul, you've ruined Stilton for me -- saw "Sauage and Stilton balls" and laughed so hard the dog woke up!

I am recommited to the low carb life style.
In first week my weight just stayed the same... but suddenly I dropped 3 lbs.. I can't complain.
I may choose to drop a few more.. 3-5, but no more than that. My fat naturally filled in some of my rinkles, and my butt got rounder. As long as my belly is flat - or semi flat - i have no issue with the other 10 lbs i regained from my lowest weight (the low weight did not look that good on me - sunken cheeks, tired all the time... etc).
I also plan to start my yoga again.

In the past I incread the carb hopping that that may help me with my RH. But it did not. That why i was not really concerned with a regain. Was trying to see if a few extra lbs would help with the RH. No, they did not.

So now i wantto lose a few lbs, but not too many. And the low carb life style keeps my BS most stable, and I do not get very hungry. So I can eat on a schedule, and choose good foods. .

Hi Paul,

I think you were going to tweak things last week, but I can't remember what.  What did you try and did it make a difference on the scale?  Just curious.  :)

  Hi everyone,

I've been missing for a few days.  I came down sick on Wednesday and haven't done a good job of tracking this week.  No surprise that my scale hasn't gone down much.  it did go down, then went up over a pound.  I think it's sodium.

Last night was a dinner party for me and 7 of my WLS friends to celebrate my 1 year anniversary that was on thursday.   I ate more carbs yesterday because I had a couple of crackers with a cheese spread and had a bit of crust on the quiche.  I do NOT feel as good as when I'm very low carb so I'm working my way back to very low carb again.  A friend gave me a great gift last night.  Three books, South Beach Diet, Carbo addicts diet and the new Atkins for Life book.  What a great present, knowing that I'm eating low carb.

I'm still not back on track with low carb but feel ok about my food for today.

B.  1 Ak Mak w/rondele cheese, a few berries, 1 ounce of hard cheese (party left overs)
L.  Quiche with the crust scraped off, green beans w/almonds, 2 bacon wrapped scallops
D.  Something with scallops, maybe green beans again

I also use ground flax seed as a random food additive in my cooking.  I have used it with high-protein, low-carb muffins (see the recipe thread).  But if I eat too much, the combination of fiber and omega-3s acts as a very effective laxative (whether I mean it to, or not).
