Ribeye for breakfast -- now that really IS luxury!!!
Hey, do you remember when strawberries, asdparagus, and melon were only available in the summer -- even in California?

LOLOL!!!
This is what we call, in our family, a "low competition food," because I can leave it in the refrigerator for days and know that it will be there, because hardly anyone else will eat it! I also grew up eating liverwurst, pickled herring, borscht, gefilte fish, and lox -- Of those, my kids only like borscht (homemade), gefilte fish (homemade) and lox!

Chopped liver... the only run in I have ever had with chopped liver was at a bar mitzvah. It was the appetizer and we were in chicago. Here were me and my sisters,we were all teenagers, looking at this nasty little heap of what looked like dried up rabbit pellets to us,lol.
We wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole and two little granny ladies across from us were fighting over who would get to eat our "perfectly good liver". LOL
Needless to say,I have still NOT tried it and have no plans too, lol.
B protein cocoa/milk 21.1
L deli ham 1
S string cheese x 2 2
S pure protein bar 16
D turkey bacon and cheese oven omelet
S protein cocoa/soy milk 6
Total 56.9 Net 47.3

I buy London broil or flank steak and ask the butcher to cut if thin for jerky.
I marinate it in some soy sauce, worschester sauce, garlic for a couple of hours or overnite or what ever time I have.
I have a dehydrator so I lay each piece out flat on the racks making sure not to let them touch each other. Dry them for 8-12 hours and they are ready.
If you don't have a dehydrator you can do the same thing in the oven with the pieces on a broiler pan. dry them on 200 degrees overnight.

The TJs refregerator-case hollandaise is my current fave. They used to have a lower-calorie jarred version, but it didn't hold well on the shelf (I'm told).
A little of that heaven goes a long, long way! Serving is two tablespoons, and I usually have one T (it's enough for 3 eggs)
Happy surgiversary!
