Pick a time of day and do it once.  It will be hard at first but you'll get better over time.

I weigh upon rising, buck naked almost daily.  Occaisionally during the day fully clothes or in the buff just so I know the difference.  If I ever posted a loss during the day I'd likely weigh mid day too but that does not happen for me.

I refuse to say put the scale away.  In my opinion, weighing daily is a defense against slipping be it at weight loss or maintenance.  If I had kept this daily ritual after low carbing on the stillman diet as a teenager I may never have gained 130 lbs.

Pick the time with the best number.  Then do it only once.  Its a maddening compulsion but really not the end of the world.

Some think that confronting our tormentors is the best.  I happen to think it's best to send the tormentors away.

Give it to your twin!!!

I think I'm going to see if my twin brother would take it...I cannot tell you how much I truly weigh!
It's somewhere between 159-163

Anyhow, so like once a month sound good??

I just want to get over this ridiculous mentality that my worth is based on whatever the number the scale says for that day...

I truly think that based on whatever number I see, that I talk myself into what I do or don't deserve.

Blah!! I'm ready to quit obsessing!

You surely will make yourself batsh*t crazy if you weigh yourself that often!

I weigh myself when my clothing starts to fit differently -- looser or tighter -- and that's all.

Honeslty -- would you like to mail me your scale for safekeeping?  Or, considering the cost of postage, just to give it to someone else for a while?

I am absolutely making myself go nuts!
I have this ridiculous habit of weighing myself 4 times a day!
*seriously!!*
Once in the morning, once in the afternoon and twice in the evening,

Why do I do it?? I do not know. All I know is that I am going crazy.

How often do you weigh yourself??

No - you just make it from califlower...
Here i sone method..

And you can google some more...

The cali-rice

The cauliflower and pulse it in a food processor until about the size of rice (of course cutting it into smaller pieces before putting it in the processor.)

Then put it in a microwave bowl covered for 8 minutes without adding any water (it has enough in it already)

To sauté it in a pan to brown and crisp it up a bit, not completely.

Then they say to use it as a replacement in any dish that calls for rice.

It seems to absorb the flavor of whatever you are cooking it with...like tofu....

It has 350 calories less than the same size serving of rice....

Another method is even easier:

Cali-rice:

While bringing a pot of lightly salted water to boil, cut cauliflower into florets. Add to boiling water and boil for about 5 minutes or so. Drain and then mash with a heavy spoon or potato masher. Set aside.

Cook just 5 min or ligthly steam.

I am doing good with carbs... just overall calories are bit too much.  But then next week I will have at least 3 days liquids only - light (getting colonoskopy) so... I think I will restart low carb and low calories. Until then... my body screams for food...

B: coffee + almond milk
cheese, more cheese
more coffee + proteins shake
flat-out wrap + cheese + cucumber
yogurt + proteins + flax meal
chicken + peppers+ cucumber salad..

Making sure I get enough magnesium (800-1200 mg per day+) to make sure that I have an easy BM daily... (so far so good).
