Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss

Life in general.
I do try and work hard to maintain reasonable low carb eating plan. As much as I can.
Though there are days that I would rather have a cupcake. But the scare of RH stops me, more than it does not. I get reaction from stupid bread crust. Why would I eat a cupcake. That's like " taking a hammer and hitting myself in a head. Though hammer may hurt less... lol...
But I am tired of meat and meat and fish.
As I developed allergy to any dairy and Whey proteins (yes - even isolate) I no longer can consume 2 large shakes... (my sinuses get blocked and I lose my voice...due to the sinus discharge). Even Allegra does not help much.
so eats is very plain for me :
coffee + almond milk
meat + veggies
same
some eggs + veggies
fish + veggies...
and so on... fun fun fun...
same will be for the weekend.. life is great.. life is great.... life is great...
BTW: I do not tolerate soy or soy proteins. so the only thing I will try to to get some egg-white proteins...or some veggie type proteins.. but so far anything I tried was

Not a bad day. Protein and carbs well under control and plenty of liquids too. Three days of atkins induction down.

yesterday I wasdoing really well.. moderate carbs, and then went out. I was hungry so I end up eating some bread. Bread crust to be exact. (I leave the rest - the soft part-alone), but it was a lot. And I had a glass of wine.. and 2 hr later my BS crushed... I did not have my tester with me, but I am pretty sure my BS dropped really low. Scary stuff. Was in a store, but still- not fun. Ate a candy, glucose tablet and some grapes. Then ate some peanuts.
Once I finally got home - I passed out... not sure what was going on...
That is my warning. The main reason I eat low carbs is to avoid things like that. Today will be a messed up day. And tomorrow also. I usually pay for things like that for a few days. I am sure the wine + the bread and not enough food all together was a main reason.
BTW: my low BS happened when I was in a wine section... picking some wines for the house...
I guess my body did not like me to do that. I put the wines back on the shelf and slowly walked away from that part of the store.
eats today:
coffee+ al milk
protein cookies
tuna fish
Lebanese lunch. (probably meat + tabulie)
some meat + veggies ... or protein cookies.
D: meat in spaghetti sauce with some chips and piece of fruit.

My name is Wendy and I am a nurse. I had gastric bypass in 2001 and lost 130 lbs and then in the last 5 years have gained 65 back. Since May 19th of thise year I have lost 36 of those pounds and gone from a 22/24 to a size 18 pants and a 3X xcrub top to tonight a XL. I have had problems with iron absorption no matter what products I used and B12 deficiency. I have had multiple iron transfusions and have gotten B12 shots for a number of years. I joined this group not because I am doing Atkins (I have done it in the past... and it works) but because I know there will be some good recipes posted here that are low carb. I personally use Herbalife products and have had great results (36 lbs since May and my family has lost a total of 96 since June) My blood work was all normal for the first time in years as well so am not interested in Atkins but am interested in the low carb recipes and eating low glycemic carbs and overall nutrition. If anyone wants to know more about me and my gastric bypass journey weight loss/ weight gain etc etc I have a blog at http://www.healthy-wealthy-n-wise.com/blog (the first post in the archives tells my original story etc. I hope to get to know some of you here and would love to be able to share recipes with you.

Lots of fiber so total carbs are higher than I expected but net carbs look pretty good. I'm still working on my water and as late s it is I've got to get the exercise in. Not a bad day.

Went for a fast walk this morning. 3.6 miles. Good coffee.. good BM.... all of those made me really happy.

lebanese food takeouts... - probably some lamb and stuff...
pork + veggies...
need to eat some fish... maybe...
