I have been a slow loser and started low carb 2 months ago to speed up my weight loss.  The first month was great.  The 2nd month I haven't lost a pound.  I have tried to stay positive and have not sabotaged myself yet...  I am trying really hard.  This is my normal eatting:

b:  premier nutrion protein shake
s:  almonds
l:   spinach salad w grilled chicken
s:  low carb yogurt
d:  some sort of meat or eggs
I am getting in at least 64 oz of water, exercise at least 3 times a week, and getting all my vitamins in.  Any suggestions other than wait it out?

Thanks!

I think I would try to sub more dense protein for the almonds, yogurt and spinach salad. Even more protein shakes instead of those items.

Are you mixing the shake with milk? Milk has lots of carbs. You might try getting close to 100 oz of SL ;liquid a day as well.

Good luck,
H

The shakes are premade.  160 cal/ 3 fat / 5 carb / 3 fiber / 30 protein

I have thought of adding another shake in, they keep me fuller longer.  I do like the yogurt when I feel like I want something sweet, keeps me sane!

You may need more proteins.  Not sure how much you getting now, but I needed 100+ per day.
Now I am on 120-160 gr a day.  Less than taht and my Blood work shows low normal levels.

what are your calories?  I think adding some more protein and upping the calories would be a good think.  I think you are low.  I keep my protein over 100, usually 120-145, carbs under 30 net and my calories end up around 1000.  Everytime I think I am done, I lose some more.
