Messed up really badly today.   Bought some fruits over the weekend and I was eating way too many lately. Got stupid and bold.
This morning ate fruits with some cheese for breakfast.  Stupid. Really? what was I thinking... fruits first thing in the morning?   My RH raised its ugly head and kicked my butt. Big time. A reminder why I need to stay low carbs. Specially in the morning.

Today will try to work on the damage (once i get bad RH episode I get low blood sugars for a few days.. unless I follow a strict and timed diet. Crap)
Coffee + almond milk
peaches + cheese
more peaches..
almond butter. more cheese...
Protein shake
beef + cucumbers
yogurt + flax _ proteins.

Oh Hala, I can totally relate.  I did great this morning, four eggs, butter, coffee with cream ...

Then I got to work and this wonderful lady made me a chocolate cake.  I'm not kidding -- she made it for me.  Me.  So .... I really felt I had to have some (it was delicious, worth every bite) but now, of course, I'm sort of starting from bite one, so to speak.

Also seem to have developed a reaction of some kind to whey protein drinks, not sure why, and that means that my quick and easy protein fix is unavailable, for the time being.

Not even goin to list what I ate today .... suffice it to say, no matter how great it's been, there's chocolate fudge cake right smack in the middle of it!

Sorry to hear about the whey drinks.
You positively sure it is the whey and not the additives as combined with whey?

I know that some of whey drinks make me sick, but some do not.  And then I found out  that it was the additives in the proteins that made me ill.  Since then I found some brands that I can have and really enjoy them.  Others - not so much.

Have you found an alternative to whey that you can drink? (I do remember yo posting a question about that and I was telling you that soy is poison.- still believe in that).

Good luck today.
BTW: About the chocolate cake - I know what you mean. But at this point in my life - I tell people how much I appreciate the thought... at the same time I tell them that I can't have any due to severe allergy to sugar and flour.    But then I do get severe RH... and I can get really sick...

I bet the cake was fantastic... I get the stupid RH after freaking fruits... in a  way - you are lucky you can have a cake (some days I get really upset at my restrictions).  Now - you will have to work extra hard...

 Okay, dish!

What protein drinks do you tolerate?

I think my intolerance is mostly due to additives and not to the "whey " per se.

I would get really sick on some (i.e. unjury) and get a lot of nausea, vomit or get upset pouch, insides
But since I switched to all naturals - and some that do not make too much foam as you mix it - it is much better.

I stick mostly with whey isolate from About  Time Whey. I can drink that on water , or with almond milk. Or can add that to my cooking. .   - backing.
I can also tolerate some (not much) Whey concentrate: MRM all natural Whey.. (MRM - have 2 - all natural flavors).

The rest of protein shakes - one day I can have another can make me really sick.

That's pretty interesting -- which additives do think might be the culprits?

For sure splenda.. and other artificial sweeteners.  But I get a real bad nause with artificial flavors. (sometimes). Then there are the sakes that have proteins and artificail stuff and ... vitamins added... most of them made me sick amlmost any time I had them.  BTW - I have to be carefull when i take my vitamins - and with what.

Maybe it is a combination of too many things that my body doe snot want to deal with?

So - the more natural the shakes - the better for me.
