Breakfast on the go...

Hi... I'm new here to the program...

And I'm doing ok, but today found myself rushing out the door with the kids without breakfast. So, we go to Tim Hortons, and have a bagel! And after a 2 weeks of being grain free.

Weekdays, I have scrambled eggs in muffin cups (2 eggs, 1 bacon strip, onions). And weekends we usually fry up something.

So, what do you do when you need breakfast and run out the door? I hate the idea of products, as it's fake, but what do you do when you're running out the door and need something? Should I eat low-sugar fruit? Doesn't seem enough.

Your advise would be appreciated.

Not familiar with tim Horton's but assume it is a bagel shop? Do they have bagel sandwiches? If so,get a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich and throw away the bagel.

And no fruit alone would not be a good choice.

I always \have cheese - string cheese, individually wrapped cheese. I can always grab and go.
Protein shake - takes me 2-3 min to make one.
I also bake protein muffins,a and my own protein cookies and have that .
In a worse case scenario - I grab protein bar.
making protein muffin - or flax muffin takes me 3-5 min. Less that it take me to make coffee.
Stopping at a "Tim Hortons - takes time also)
There is food that is individually wrapped that does not spoil too fast - I always have that for grab-and-go.
