Temperature a comfortable 70 degrees.  It'll rain later...

2 boiled eggs and a Ryvita
Cheese
Pork
Peanuts
2 Atkins bars
Coffee and tea.

At the moment I'm craving anything sweet, so I'll be glad when the Atkins bars are gone so I' m not reminded of the evils of chocolate, cake etc.  Have a good mid-week!

grrr... 70.... it is 10 am here and already the temp is 88 deg. they predict it will be over 100 today.. nice.
In the morning I went for a walk (brisk 3.6 miles, 50 min, 80 deg )  I was glad when it was over.  My friend and I motivate ourselves.  And while we walk, we talk , so the times kind of fly...

rest of it - read at your own risk... LOL)

My colon still is lazy.. I hate feeling so full of it... Eating fruits and taking extra probiotics does not do much..  fiber, magnesium, etc... Once in a while my colon goes on strike.  A 7 days of antibiotics and a trip may have something to do with it.  I think a good cleanse is in order.
I do deal with that.  But ..I hate that.  But then my colon was like that even before RNY. And as I found out - I do have unusually long colon...

eats today:
coffee+ almond milk
green drink with proteins. (it does look and taste green)
yogurt + proteins+ flax
flax muffin
tzatziki sauce - salad with flax added...   (you get the drift? lol)
chicken with mushrooms + tzatziki salad. (with flax)

Lots of water, green tea, magnesium and probiotics... things needs to start moving again..

Next week - Monday I do plan to start a full colon cleanse... something is not right...

Great idea to walk with a friend, I tend to walk in my lunch hour, and it's difficult to find a partner.

I also like flax, I'll add a few spoonfuls to my stilton butter tomorrow and eat that for lunch and my afternoon snack.  Salad came up again today about an hour after I ate it.  I'm sick and tired of trying to be healthy!  I can eat any old rubbish carbs and my stomach laps it up, show it veg and I'm sick.  LOL (NOT!!)

Didn't Elvis have a lazy colon?  I wish you luck with the cleansing.  I just eat flax with everything and nature takes its course, so I'm lucky...

Paul. For  along time I had a really hard time with raw veggies. Even now - I will have some, but still - not very often.
cooked, broiled, grilles, or just (most often) sauteed - are my best choices.
Some I eat raw , but not that often - mainly some small salads (green lettuce just does not like me that much). I will not eat any raw carrots, they always come back.  The raw veggies that I tolerate - in small qty are peppers, and cucumbers. And squash. Yellow squash.  I mostly eat that finally shredded or julienne - in a yogurt sauce.   But taht mostly as a snack and in evenings. My pouch gets bitgger as the day goes by.

Thanks for the advice.  I think I'll stick to my peas, broad beans and tomatoes for a few more weeks then introduce  very small quantities of raw veg to see exactly what I can tolerate.  I really don't want to stretch my sleeve as I'm fighting head-hunger all the time at the moment.  LOL!
