Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss

 Okay, so I knew I was going on vacation and I knew it would be "A CHALLENGE" to stay budget and cook two meals (or three) for the family every night, so about a week and a half ago I said - forget the low carb thing for now - BIG MISTAKE!!!!  I was so miserable the first few days - gastrointestinal distress, just icky feeling - you all know.

So about 4 days in, I finally turned around the carb monster and slowed down on the food fest.  

I was worried that I had gained like 20 pounds while I was "off".  Thank God that didn't happen.  Came home at the same weight I left at - yeah!

Back to grindstone and lower carbs - it just isn't worth the pain!

If I go much above 40 grms of carbs a day my feet feel like balloons and my head spins.  Good news that the scales haven't moved, and the reminder is good for all of us!
