Happy Holidays!  Or, if you don't celebrate, Happy Great Day anyway!!!

I've been eating VERY well over the last few days, and really putting in the relaxation and face-time-with-friends, so I'm feeling pretty good!

Today (this is a good example of eating on Atkins maintenance, folks -- NOT induction):

B:  Three poached eggs, hollandaise, grilled asparagus, lox
S:  coffee with chocolate syrup and full cream
L:  chicken cholent (chicken, turkey, potatoes, carrots, onion, tomatoes) with quinoa
S:  deviled eggs
S:  strawberry and greek-yogurt smoothie
D:  shepherd's pie, salad of greens from my garden and cucumbers, cumin carrots, beets, possibly a lemon bar for desert

So far so good.

Coffee
7 almonds
homemade spinach dip with pork rinds.  couldn't eat much as it was very filling / rich.

Plus an additional 42.2lbs pre op! Starting weight 300lbs.

Spinach dip with pork rinds, and a handful of almonds .... does not seem like an adequate daily intake -- Was there more?

I'm only commenting because, longer-term, this way of eating would not be sustainable of healthy.

Please forgive my abrupt comment ... I just worry!

Oh yeah there was more.  That was up until lunch.  For supper I had a beef satay stir fry over miracle noodles.

I have enough fat on me that I could conceivably fast for two to three months and be fine.  lol

Also my  morning coffee contains 40grams of protein and lots of fat as I add coconut oil.

Omigosh, you did make me laugh -- At one point, I calculated the quantity of groceries that I had stored on my then-315-pound body:

165 extra pounds of fat (probably not true, as much of that was additional blood and muscle required to sustain the additional mass)

X
3500 kCal per pound
______________________

577500 extra kCalories stored on my body

divided by

2,000 kCal needed by a typical woman per day
________________________

equivalent of 288.75 days of food stored on my obese body

THIS WAS OVER NINE MONTHS OF GROCERIES THAT I CARRIED AROUND ON ME, UNNEEDED!!!

Just wanted to share LOL!!!

Bleh...I've eaten kind of crappily yesterday and today.

My big bad thing I had yesterday was 24 carbs worth of cheesecake
Bad thing today: Cheez its (27 carbs worth)

Other than these things, I've eaten well this weekend. The usual protein shakes, atkins bars, cheese and nuts for snacks, tilapia for dinner.

Thank God, that I can start fresh in the morning!

Have a great rest of the day everyone!

Okay, it was a holiday, and cheesecake on a holiday -- well, who can resist.

CheezIts though ... they are the spawn of satan, I'll bet every molecule of extra weight I carry is from those delicious slider-foods, urggggggggggg .....

Keep us posted and let us know how you feel!
