Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss
Monday CARb Accountability Roundup!
Okay folks, I've got three days of holiday this week and I'm not likely to post back -- PLEASE, please please PLEASE do post the CARb Accountability Rollcall/Roundup on my behalf in my absence (Tuesday and Wednesday).
Tonight Passover begins, w hich is a bread-free holiday. You would think it was Low-Carb Heaven without the bread, but unfortunately there are many high-carbohydrate traditional favorite dishes that come with the festivities, so it's going to be a challenge, anyway.
Today!!!!
B: Marinara and queso blanco
S: Coffee with cream and SF Choc Syrup
L: Tuna salad, beet salad, cucumber salad, baba ganoush, greens
S: Probably some matzo-ball tasting, and a berry-yogurt smoothie
D: (catch your breath)
Wine (four cups over the evening)
Matzo (cracker)
Appetizers: egg, horseradish, gefilte fish (homemade), home-grown radishes, chopped liver, apple compote (haroset, for those of you who know what it is ...)
Chicken soup
Roasted chicken, roasted potatoes and onions, home-grown broccoli, carrots with prunes
And probably desert of strawberries and a very, very eggy flourless spongecake
It's always amazing how much healthier I feel once I stop eating things made with yeast. I'll have to look into that.
Howabout y'all?
Lisa
