Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss
Super Saturday! CARb Accountability Roundup
Okay folks , it's the weekend! If you are new to the Atkins/Low-Carb Group, this is where participants may list their daily intake. Useful, because:
1) it helps to know we're accountable, by whatever means we choose; and
2) it's useful for others to get a good idea of what a low-carb way of eating entails
Here's my MAINTENANCE intake for the day (I italicized the stuff that is NOT for pre-maintenance):
Pre-B) coffee with Fox's Ubet sugar-free chocolate syrup, OMG OMG OMG! See product thread!
B) two poached eggs and about 3 oz hash browns
S) smoked-salmon, asparagus, cream-cheese roll-ups, and more mocha
L) noodle-less cheese lasagna
S) decaf mocha -- hitting the sugar-free choc syrup pretty hard today!
D) pastrami-chopped liver roll-ups, green salad with olive oil dressing, sliced corned beef
After-dinner) Probably something alcoholic, haven't decided what yet -- and also a cookie!
For those of you who celebrate, Hag Purim Sameach!
Please keep in mind that low-carb maintenance is not the same as Atkins/Low-Carb Induction, which should last about two weeks, depending on your metabolism. I have about 75 grams of effective carbs coming to me today -- roughly my limit. Your mileage will vary!

'Morning LC'rs -
Gonna spew this out fast then go finish up my taxes.
Coffee with heavy cream and Splenda - All day
B - Left over Enchilada Chicken and Atkins shake
L - Dunno
D - Dunno, but probably a baked ricotta thinga-ma-jig... will post recipe
S - Will have frozen DaVinci butterscotch ice cubes (came up with this idea last night and they hit the spot! Use any flavor you like as long as is sugar free, calorie free, and carbohydrate free). I use the mini cube trays which makes the treats bite size - just pour the syrup in straight from the bottle (or dilute it if you prefer - you could even add a little heavy cream... ohhh that gives me a great idea - next I'm going to make orange-creamsicle flavor!
Enjoy your weekend!
