How do I add pic to post?

Can someone please tell me how to add a pic to my post? I've already uploaded it to my profile, but can't figure out how to add it to a post -  It's a recipe I'd like to share with all of you.

 Oooh, we like recipes!

To add a pic to a post (providing your browser will allow it, some don't):  Right click the photo, and when a menu appears click on "copy" or "copy image."  Then, when you are writing your new post, and you get to the spot where you want to add the pic, hit [CTRL + V] and the photo should appear.

Of course, if you are using a mac/apple, these rules might not apply.  Or, if you're using Google Chrome.  Or Firefox.  Or sometimes IE.

We have a stickied recipe thread at the top of the Discussion page -- We love to check for new recipes there!

I've tried what you suggested, but I do use Firefox, so it doesn't paste the pic. Well I'll still add the recipe to that thread and there's a pic under my photos for those who want to see it.
