I know I have been MIA for the last 4-6 weeks, but I hope to be here again everyday again. Work had taken over my every spare moment, but I think things are slowly but surely slowing down.
Earlier this week I started watching my carbs a little more closely. Last night I actually woke up at 1 am hungry enough that I could not go back to sleep. I must have cut back too much yesterday. I don't usually get up to eat once I go to bed, but I just could not go back to sleep. I finally got up and drank a RTD atkins drink and then slept like a log until my husband woke me for the day.
Today's eats included:
coffee
protein bar
decaf coffee
steak strips w/mustard
cinnamon almonds
protein bar
meat sauce over adkins penne pasta
decaf w/creamer and splenda
lots of water
greek yogurt w/protein powder and low carb granola

For someone who is not particularly fond of fish (not substantial enough to count as REAL food in my opinion), I sure am enjoying my Tilapia tonight!
All day long: Coffee (mainly decaf), Atkin's shake

S: Corned beef slices
D: Grilled Tilapia with parmesan, spinach and asparagus with olive oil

My carbs were great today, protein in the toilet. I have renewed restriction and no appetite from my virus episode and need to do better. Ah,well,tomorrow is another day...
