Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss
My little foray into FRUITVILLE!
I think I miss fruit more than potatoes. I always have lots of fruit in the house, so I just have to look the other way. Berries and melons are doable in moderation on occasion. I am going to have some blackberries this weekend because they are on sale and they have lots of fiber.
Such a pity, they are so delish and vitaminy. But there really isn't any nutrition in them that you can't get in low carb veggies.

Yup! I've been back on track (everything was good except the fruit) since Monday morning. I had a couple of days of severe cravings. I'm back down the 1.5 pounds I went up on my fruit foray. I'm grateful that I could let go of it. I just can't go there because it's hard for me to stop once I start, even that 1/2 cup of berries a day.

If I could eschew the fruit and coffee mate, I bet I could lose five pounds! I guess we have to figure out our priorities. Sounds like you have done just that.
A bag of cuties made their way into my shopping cart yesterday, but I am dolling them out like pain pills, lol. It's enough of a little sweet at the end of a long day to satisfy me. I think of the old 400+ pound days, when a bag would barely last two days.

Just checking in about dumping the fruit. I went up 1.5 pounds eating the fruit for a week. On Monday I went back to under 20 carbs a day and I'm down 2.5 pounds. This isn't something that I want to play with and I'm not going to allow myself another week like that because it's not worth the mental aggravations of seeing my weight go up on my spreadsheet. (I track my weight daily). Even 1 pound of indulgence just isn't worth it to me right now. I have my goal of 149 right in front of me and I'm going to keep a keen eye on it.

I track my weight daily too. t seems to work the best for me.
2.5 is a marked loss. You make a good argument. I may give the cuties away or save them for someone else. They are my only foray intro fruitville these days.

Thank you! I figure that "hopefully" the cuties will be there for the rest of my life. For now it's more important for me to attain the goals I set out for myself. I can hopefully eat the cuties when i'm in maintenance, or maybe not, but it would be a great tradeoff for improved health!
