Just finished making pancakes for my son, didn't even think of making one for myself, HOORAY!

Bacon and a scrambled egg
2 Atkins bars and 1 diabetic bar
4 ozs cheese with 4 Ryvita
4 ozs gammon
Coffee and fruit teas.

Have a great Pancake Day!

Totally bravo to you for holding back on the pancakes!

I remember when I first started doing Atkins -- I weighed 315 lbs at the time -- that it took Herculean strength to keep from eating the dangerous carbs.  First of all, at the time it seemed like they were everywhere.  And it was exhausting to show restraint all the time.

What got me through a lot of it was remembering a friend's comment ... the opportunitiy to "sin" is brief, and the urge will pass.  (He wasn't talking about food, as I recall.)  And frankly, the constant reminder that the temptation was transitory -- This got me through a lot of Pancake Moments!

Copgratulations!

Aww, Paul -- I always notice your posts!

It's been sort of a rough week, overall -- don't feel badly, there's not a lot that really makes me laugh right now!
