Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss
It's already FRIDAY? CARb Accountability Roundup!
Wow,, this week somehow went by very fast for me! I'm not sure why, but I'm glad it's the weekend already! Hope it's a good one for everybody else, too!
My plan (and we'll see how this works out, as you can see from my poor follow-through yesterday):
3 eggs hollandaise
greek yogurt
quesadilla with low-carb tortilla, cheese, and avocados that a friend brought over, ripened on her tree
coffee with cream and/or protein shake
and a big dinner -- veggie soup, chicken, asparasgus, carrots, and possibly BNANAAAAAAA
but we'll see! Might treat myself to a glass of red wine, to boot!

Friday 0715...
2 scrambled eggs and 1 oz cheddar cheese
3 ozs stilton butter and 4 Ryvitas
2 lamb burgers
2 Atkins bars
Coffee and fruit teas, might treat myself to a 37 calorie hot chocolate drink...
No weight change, so I'm back on cheese. No chocolate cravings when I eat 4 ozs of any cheese a day...makes sooooo much sense LOL
Have a great weekend!

Okay - was that stilton AND butter on ryvitas, or is stilton butter something else I've never had?
(When I was in Wisconsin one summer, they had CHOCOLATE CHEESE for sale at a farmstand.)

Take 3 ozs stilton and 1oz cream and blend until you get a pale blue butter consistency. The smellier the stilton the better! Ryvitas are rye crispbreads, mainly fibre, but I particularly like the ones with sesame or pumpkin seeds. If you really want decadence then spread a good salted butter on the Ryvita first, then the Stilton butter. An ****** in your mouth! You can also spread it on a steak, mix with cooked mushrooms or even put it in a baked potatoe if you want the carbs as well.
What was the chocolate cheese like?

Chocolate cheese is a great deal like fudge, unfortunately. I could have made an entire career of eating that, and nothing but (except I would have weighed a ton as it contains a huge amount of sugar.)
If you reread your post ... Omigosh, Paul, it is taking a huge amount of restraint not to respond with the obvious. But the next time my husband is feeling romantic, I will think about offering him some salted butter with Stilton on a Ryvita.

Hey low carbers, its been a minute. Life has gotten in the way of posting but I'm still doing what I need to do and trying to get where I need to be.
Got a little boost from a trip to the ralph lauren store. I finally fit the size I've been wanting in some jeans. Don't want the jjeans, just want them to fit, lol.
FRIDAY'S PLAN

I've changed my eating plan. Things are not moving and I need variety so its time to shake things up. Keeping carbs low but adding more veg and no longer keeping fats at min 50%. Most likely I'll do this for a two week cycle then switch up again.
Fingers crossed things will start moving in the right direction again. Keeping my calorie average for the month at my desired weight. C'mon goal minus ten!

Isn't it interesting about how fat tends to sort of act as a solvent to melt body fat away, in the absence of carbs? Metab olism sure is a mystery!
It's great to see you back!

Doing good. Due to the unfortunate shrimp episode... my pouch and insides still are fussy. So I am not hungry. Eating low carb is easy., when you are not hungry and the inside are upset when you do eat - LOL.
BTW: when I do not feel like eating, and or get a bit of "something is not right" feeling, drinking protein drinks, and eating yogurt will lhelp a lot. I make sure that I get app 100gr proteins per day minimum... and the vitamins. Plus water. I learn not to force the food. I gained some lbs - and even though that looks OK on me, I can lose 5 lbs...and still feel great. (acctually that is the goal)
So today plan is:
coffee
cheese (didn't snot sit right... so the rest of the day take it easy)
protein shake + coffee
yogurt + proteins + Flax meal
1/2 apple (large apple)
D: not sure how will I feel but I have cheese, smoked salmon, fruits..
A bite of 2 and my body will tell me if I can have that. if not -- I will make a nice protein ice cream... + whip cream.
Total carbs: probably no more than 30-40. calories? who cares? (but definitely ~1400 or less)

Just curious, how does flax meal sit with your tummy? It goes right through me, and I was sort of surprised by that -- did not sit well with me when I had a bad headcold earlier in the week!!!
