I've had a head cold all day -- nothing but coffee, tea, and chicken soup.  But I still want to know what you all are eating LOL!

I'm heading off to bed -- I expect to see glorious menus when I return from Nyquil Heaven!

I put about 1/4 cup almond milk(or other liquid) in an oversized mug. micro it for 30 sec.

Heat 1 cup liquid in another cup in the micro for 3 min/
While that is heating i put one spoon of stevia in the raw in the quarter cup milk,then 1 spoon unsweetened cocoa powder and then 2 scoops protein powder. I use a whisk to stir and whisk that together really well.

When the milk comes out,I put one spoon of hot milk over in the protein slurry while whisking. I continue to put a spoon at a time while whisking for about 4 spoons. this "tempers" the protein mix so it won't curdle.

I then can pour the rest of the milk in with no problem.

Another little tip,I bought a "candle warmer" at the thrift store for a dollar. I keep my cup on the candle warmer and it keeps it warmer. I hate it when it gets too cool.

0830 Friday, nearly the WEEKEND!

2 boiled eggs and a Ryvita
2 Atkins bars and 2 packets of Ryvita Minis
Half pot cottage cheese with pineapple
4 ozs lamb

I may try a salad on the weekend, see if I can keep it down.....LOL.

What is pot cottage cheese?  From California, that sounds like something slightly illegal.  I say slightly, because that sort of thing is legal in some parts of California, but federally prohibited.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's short for 'A half-pot of cottage cheese'  Not only am I boring but an ex-copper (policeman) to boot!

I love the DEEP sleep I get with Nyquil postop!  But thankfully I have not had to use it much in the last 4 years.  Hope you wake feeling much better.

1. coffee w/ protein drink creamer
2. Queso faux french toast
3. steak strips and 1/2 avacado
4. Venti soy latte
5. Protein bar
6. Venti soy latte
7. Protein shake w/ almond milk, strawberries, banana
8. sugar-free triffle (sf cake, greek yogurt, nuts, sf cherry pie filling)

Lots of bottle water, totally forgot to order the lattes as decaf.

too many carbs today with the fruit and then the triffle.

Oh, Goody -- I hope the trifle was yummy;  I'm making myself some soft custard, which reminds me of truffle.  I ran out of Nyqui, so I'm going to go for benadryl and a hot toddy.

Sorry you're sick!  i hope you're better today.

I woke up with a wigglie Sleevie yesterday morning.  Thought I'd have to stay home from work, then figured out that it was the new Calcium that I started taking on Wednesday.  I think I have to build up to those 6 horse pills.  I take 3 doses and took 1 close to bedtime and it just sat in my Sleeve complaining all night.

I didn't worry so much about the carbs, but ate what felt ok.

Calories  783 Protein 62 - low Total Carbs 59    10am - 1/2 cup fage w/blueberries 1pm - 1/2 cup kung pao chicken,  1 fresh rice paper wrapped vietnamese spring roll 4pm - 1/2 cup fage w/blueberries 8:30 after pilates class and costco to take a neighbor 1 chicken leg green beans w/sliced almonds 1/2 cup red raspberries  
So much easier for the BooM Princess to visit when i've had a little veggies and berries. 

1 hour pilates class
