Hi Hollykim,

I have been  MIA for a few weeks, but have been keeping up when possible with the threads.  I learned for you all that I may be drinking toooo much coffee and that my calcium supplements alone take in 28g carbs a day.

So for the last 2 days I have cut back to one cup of regular coffee and the rest of the day is decaf.  I have changed my calcium from the soft chews back to pills for now.

I feel like I ate too much today but here it is for all to see:

coffee w/ protein shake creamer

4 oz queso (faux french toast)
EAS protein shake
steak w/ horseradish sauce
2 hard boiled eggs
Atkins protein bar
Lettuce, tomato, radish salad w/chicken and deviled egg w/ranch dressing
lots of decaf w/protein shake creamer
bottled water

I ate approximately every 2 to 3 hours.

Please any suggestions would be welcome.

Steak with horseradish sauce sounds like a pretty delicious meal!!!

It was all yummy.  I just felt hungry all day!

The steak was strips that I bought in the meat section of Sams.

Maybe tomorrow I will not feel as hungry.

replace your more "slidery" foods with denser stuffs. Though I love protein shakes and bars--they don't stay in the tummy very long. Maybe half them, like 1/2 protein shake follow with hard boiled egg. Salads also are a slider for me, especially with dressing. Here, maybe have the salad dressing, but add one to two oz dense protein like chicken--something that will stay in tummy longer.

Your food choices look great--it may just be a function of pairing 'em up to stay in pouch, tiny tummy better.

oh, and make sure all your drinking stops 10 - 20 minutes prior to eating, and don't start drinking for at least a good 1/2 hour after; otherwise you'll push your food right through and it won't "stay with you" either.
