Hi folks -- I hate to go to new groups and have to wade through a ton of stickies at the top, just to get to the good discussions, but it occurs to me that we really could use an easy place to go to for fantastic products.  So . . . ., Here it is!  Post your best recommendations!

(I'm going first!)

SHIRATAKI NOODLES, WOO hooooooooooooooo

I served this last night to my family with spaghetti sauce and guess what?  They thought it was BETTER than regular spaghetti!!!  All you do is rinse it and heat it up -- DELICIOUS!!!

Spendy, though!  Took 3 bags to feed a family of six!

If you are sensitive to soy products here is an alternative shirataki noodle made from 100% konjac yam.  The fishy smell of the packing water rinses off withourt a trace in a minute or two under tap water.  They can be boiled or sauteed.

Sorry, no pictures, but for my "wraps" I am using seaweed sheets  - like they use for California rolls. 1 carb - but 1 fiber - so FREEEEEEE.

I put a meat, cheese and broccoli slaw and pickled ginger in them - yummy.

Hi Everyone,

I eat Dreamfields Pasta.  5 grams of carbs for 2 oz dry.  You can find it in the supermarket in the pasta isle.

LocarbU.com is a website that has everything you can imagine that is low carb.

I keep reading about y'all and your deep-fried pork rinds.  Well ... I don't eat pork!  And I've been dying dying DYING for a salty crunchy snack that was sort of cracker-ey soooooooo

I found these wedged somewhere towards the back of my freezer.  If you slightly over-cook them (without burning) in the microwave, they make jim-dandy crackers!!!!

Two slices of vegetarian "bacon" has only one net carb, whoo hoooooooooooooo!  And tasty, too, if you have no idea what real bacon tastes like!

(Otherwise, not so sure)

If you miss cereal try this granola! I thought it was awesome!!! Great to snack on straight out of the bag or pour it in a bowl with a little unsweetened almond milk! It is really high in fiber (15 gr)so if you are poop challenged this stuff is great! LOL!  ;-)

I found delicious low carb bread at When Pigs Fly Bakers in Freeport, Maine. They will mail their bread too! Each slice is 6 net carbs. It's very dense so I get it unsliced and slice it thinly so it's even less than 6. You have to buy a minimum of three loaves at a time (they're $5 each). It freezes beautifully. They will aso send it "par-baked" and you can finish baking it at home.

Where do you get the Shirataki noodles?  I haven't seen anything like that in the local grocery store, but I am willing to travel a bit if it means I can have me some spaghetti, lol!
