CARb Accountability - Hey, Wednesday is HUMP Day!

Happy mid-week, everyone!!!!  Hey, we're halfway through till the weekend!

Don't know about y'all y'all, but having to post my intake daily really DOES help keep me on the straight and narrow.  Tuesday was a 1600 calorie day for me, and about 300 of that came in the form of cream for my coffee -- What do you all think, should I nix the heavy cream?  I'm still hung up on the idea of thermodynamics, eg it's all about the calories.   But I'm sure that the calories do figure in there, somewhere!!!

Honestly, I'm just grateful not to be sugar-bowl diving.  I nibbled on a single dried cranberry from the cupboard, and honestly you would not believe the sugar cravings that set off.  I went and did a number on some tuna salad instead,  So my blood sugar is okie dokie, and I'm still within my nutritional goal ranges, but it was an uncomfortable reminder that sugar is the boss of me!

So -- Post your intake, or your planned intake, and let's take a look!

BTW# -- Are you sure you're actually eating ENOUGH to lose?  What's your protein in gm for the day?

Hi, my I am journaling my intake.



began Adkins diet today, hoping tobeat the carb. monster!







B- 2 lattes 140 cal total



6 carbs total.







Snack-
nonfat latte 70 cal 3 carbs
Lunch-
grilled chick 100 cal 2 carbs 21 protein
Snack-non fat latte 40 cal 3 carbs
Dinner-
2 slice cheese 120 cal
0 carb
midnite food- 3 bowls cocoa pebbles- failed on my first day!! 700 cal
125 carb?
I cannot even get thru 1 day !!
Goal 1000 cal total cal-1300 cal
20 carbs total carbs-145/=to many!!
64 oz water





I have a couple ideas for your cream calorie intake.



I have fat free redi whip you can add instead of heavy cream, it is 5 cal a serving, or the powdered cream, I am not a fan of plain coffee,but I have found these 2 do taste pretty good without all those calories!!

Not feeling my best today but I held to plan despite just sitting on my @$$ or sleeping between feedings.  Because I calorie cycle this should have been my higher cal day.  Given I rested all day I'll save those extra calories for when I'm making up the missed work outs.

This is my first time posting. Wednesday marks my 3rd day back to low carb--trying to lose those holiday pounds. I'm planning on doing "induction" for one week, and will decide from there. Yes it is Wednesday (thank goodness!) and another week almost done. I'm going out to Mimi's for breakfast and I'm planning to have their protein plate ~ ETA ~ I had eggs benedict without the muffin part - very good!

Pre B - plain Fage yogurt w/instant coffee & stevia (7)
B - 2 poached eggs, 2 tomato slices, spinach (4)
S - almonds (3)
L - pulled pork
S - cottage cheese (5)
D - shrimp stir fry (5)

Total net carbs = 24 grams

Water - will be 10 cups
Vitamins - taken after dinner
Exercise - 3 mile walk

1 latte and fruit teas + 1 pin****er (YEEUCH!!!)

I use unsweetened almond milk in my coffee, a cup is 40 calories and 2 grams of carbs with 1 gram of fiber, and it mixes well and tastes good!  I use it for all of my milky needs, since unlike with cows milk, I am not compelled to just open my gullet and pour it down!  :}  Lufs me some milk! 

I use 1/3 cup of it in my big ol coffee cup and its lightens and creams it up nicely!
