Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss
Monday Madnes CARb Accountability Roundup!!!
You'll notice that I'm actually posting this SUNDAY evening. That's because I'm sure that tomorrow I'll be too rushed and anxious in the morning to remember to post.
There have been some lively and interesting discussions in the group about the impact of stress on carb consumption. I'm about to go pack tomorrow's foodstuffs, so I'm ready at-the-go. The local 99 Cent Store has dry snapple diet on sale, so I bought a bunch and am hoping it will help me hydrate through the week. Really not looking forward to this week professionally, so I'm sort of laying out a plan of action, nutritionally speaking.
I'll post later what I ate. Suffice it to say, fried cheese is going to figure heavily into my meal planning for the week! (Also a hidden-away sugar-free dark chocolate bar.) I'll let y'all know when I get there!

B: eggs and hollandaise, and coffee with heavy cream. I never ever EVER tire of this!
Snack: Atkins shake as creamer in coffee, and some laughing cow (not low fat) wedges
L: Cottage cheese and fresh red pepper. Made my colleague roll her eyes.
Snack: Part of a Syntrax shake with soy milk. I try not to rely too much on processed stuff, but oh well! Also, some peanuts. And some low-carb chocolate.
Dinner: Meatballs with red sauce
It was a pretty straightforward day -- Nothing too exciting but I think I still came in at 38 net carbs and 105 grams protein -- about on target.
Still have dinner and evening mocha to go but so far so good. Here's what it should look like. I'm right where I want to be for the day for protein, carbs, ratios. Fingers crossed I won't fkcu it up.

Down 8/10s of a pound at WW tonight. That's 2.5 pounds in two weeks of Low Carb which is a BIG loss for me after maintaining for a long time. I'm geared up to get this weight off. Thanks for all the encouragement I get here.
