Good morning everyone (except you, Paul -- in which case, good evening)!

Becky is swamped with other responsibilities just now, so she's letting me have fun with the CARb Accountability Roundup.  I know I'm no Becky -- but here I am anyhow!

So .... Sunday is often chores-n-family day.  It's easy to slip up on snacking and family meals.  How's your day going, today?  

As of right now, my eating consists of eggs hollandaise augmented with farmer's market asparagus .... yum yum yum!  Also coffee with full cream.  I'm so grateful that this way of eating allows me delicious foods that I enjoy!  I'm spending the day working on my own organic urban farm (112 sq feet, but it's what I've got!).   

And you .....?

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for getting us started while Becky is away.  Your garden sounds like fun.  What are you growing or planning to grow.  I've done a lot of organic gardening over the years.  My parents put me in gardening school when I was in elementary school and I always had a home garden with my dad.  In my early 20's I graduated to living on a farm and growing all of our food organically.  Love the wild asparagus etc.

I had oatmeal this morning but will cooked talapia and chicken breast today. I have peanuts and porkskin to eat if the urge to eat happens.

It's 1900 hrs Sunday, tomorrow I will have:

2 scrambled eggs
2 Atkins bars
4 ozs smoked Austrian cheese
4 meat-only sausages
4 ozs lamb
4 ozs chicken (If I keep down the 2 ozs I've just had for Sunday Dinner)
Otherwise 4 ozs corned beef or Ardennes pate with bacon and Ryvita
Coffee with cream and fruit teabags.

No weight loss this week, but I stall for weeks then suddenly lose......

orowheat sandwich thin pizza with peperoni, mozerella  250

2 coffee whith sugar free cream
sugarfree jello with whipping cream    75

same as above omelet      200

Total carb blowout for me... coulda stopped but didn't so...the rest of today was another chance and tomorrow is another day.

S cheddar cheese and fresh blueberries
 93.8 Whew,glad tomorrow is another day!

Yannow ..... back in the day, I coulda done a LOT more damage than 93,8 carbs LOL!!!  Like, a whole, two-digit, prime-number multiple of that!  From where I sit, that really isn't a carb-tastic disaster.  (Hushpuppies are delicious, and I hope it was totally worth it!)

I think you are right. and like becky has said it is not about what happens in just one day. It is about what happens in all the days when you put them together that matters.

And Lord,they were the BEST hushpuppies! I did eat all my catfish and beans before I squeezed 3 of those mugs in,lol.

 


          

 

MSW will not settle

Its a high carb day.  Third in a row.  I'm on a break.  Each day between 70 and 80 carbs and 11%-19% of total calories.  Fat ratio low at 48% yesterday but stayed at 50% or better today and Friday.  I'll be cutting back hard tomorrow.

Soooooooooooo ..... I noticed a lotta chocolate!  Any special reason that chocolate really resonates right now?


(Just curious!)


(Because I bought a bar of sugar-free extra-dark chocolate today, which is sitting untouched in my purse, just WAITING for me .... yikes!)
