Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss

Not sure what is on tap for dinner. Probably a hamburger with cheese. And popcorn loaded with butter later.

Vites: check. Fluids: check.

 I don't know what's for dinner, either.  Sort of sick of cooking, and dearly wish that dinner would just magically appear on the table, by itself.

Today --

hollandaise eggs
coffee with goat milk (out of cream)
fried cheese with marinara
currently, this very moment, a glass of wine

My appetite has been inexplicably low for th last three or four days, don't know why.  May be a by-product of having "DONE" Atkins for so many weeks!

I think Atkins does reduce appetite for a while. That is a good thing in my book!

It went up to 41 and stayed there for a while today, but you can't tell it by the amount of snow in my yard. My dogs are sick of it and want some DIRT.

Saturday:

- cheese (2)
- Glory Days: side caesar sala with no croutons, "10 Spice Chicken" chicken breast (5 - 1)
- Jeff's grandmother's 80th birthday: slice of sheet cake, small scoop of 2 different flavors of ice cream, 3 small oatmeal cranberry cookies (est. 108 - 4)
- double protein hot chocolate with coconut oil (2.5 - 2)

Totals:
118g total carbs (111g net carbs), 106g fat, 104g protein.

Totals are estimates since Glory Days' nutrition info is not posted, so I had to try to find a simmilar item from someplace else. I don't know the brand of the cake, ice cream, and cookies, so, again, just picked things that would be similar. I considered taking the entire day "off" and having whatever I wanted at the restaurant, too, and skipping the protein drink, but decided to just go off temporarily instead of for the whole day.

I'm hoping for a friendly number on the scale on Monday morning which is the only day of the week I count, even though I weigh daily.

I hate to brag but it was in the 80's today here in So Cal :) DH and I got out to Disneyland this afternoon but it was sure crowded, even for a Saturday!!! I'm so glad to be home and in better control of my meals...

B - coffee w/half & half (4)
S - Atkins protein bar (3)
L - shrimp stir fry (5)
S - more coffee w/half & half (4)
D - chicken cobb salad (5)
S - mushrooms & egg cooked in butter w/mexican cheese crumbled on top (2)

Total net carbs = 23 grams

Water - 6 cups (will do better tomorrow)
Vitamins - taken
Exercise - walking
