Your right Becky today I didn't get much in but I did go shopping and am ready to try different choices to up both carb and protein the problem is I don't get hungry and with this band 1/2 cup makes me so full for about 4-5 hours especially when eating solid protein. hopefully I get it figured out. I will really pu**** this next week

Not sure what I'll have for dinner today but so far so good. If I have something different I'll be sure to keep the carbs under control.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
They are not great but I make them because I must 'cook' whey or it sets off my asthma.
1 scoop of whey protein
1 tbsp melted smart balance light
1/4 tsp baking powder
a few drops of almond extract (or what ever you like)
1 tbsp granular splenda or equivalent drops of liquid splenda
A little cinnamon, apple pie spice, pumpkin pie spice, cocoa powder, whatever you like.
Knead into a dough adding drops of water as needed. Divide into two or three balls and flatten into thin cookies.
This is where I fkcu up. I cannot remember how best to bake them. It makes a decent microwave cookie for about 30 sec on high. It also works well in the oven but I misplaced the experiment that worked best. Somewhere between 325 and 400 for about 10 min.
When I get the recipe right I'll post it. Since I've never even made regular cookies I'll take any recipe help I can get. I would love to make the perfect sf protein 'sugar cookie'
When I nibble these between meals I behave so much better. I double the recipe and bake them as needed for snacking.
