So this morning I dump on plain greek yougurt...WHAT THE HECK IS THAT ABOUT????

Anyway...what else are you eating for breakfast?  I don't do eggs well.  Perhaps I am going to have to look at nontraditional breakfast foods?

Ideas welcome!

I'd go with the non traditional, no law says you have to eat "breakfast food". Just eat whatever works for you, we won't tell anybody.

I had a steak.  Thin cut and good for pan frying.  Three minutes on each side and its done.

I rarely stick with breakfast foods.  I find boneless thin cut meats cook quick and easy as bacon and go fine alone or with eggs.

MSW,  Steak is a good idea...I do tolerate that well and Wlamart seems to always have the tin cut steak so it would be eay to find.  Do you marinate it...or just cook as is?

I marinade everything as is the Trinidadian style of cooking I grew up with.

A little worstershire sauce and/ or vinegar, ground thyme, black pepper, onion and garlic powder.  I season the whole package but cook steaks one at a time.

I keep canola oil seasoned with crushed red pepper flakes and use a tsp in a no stick pan for frying.  Works well for boneless pork loin chops too.

I did protein shakes for breakfast for a long time. Could also do protein coffee or protein hot chocolate.

I also got on a kick once of breakfast sausage (just frozen ones that I nuke) with Laughing Cow soft cheese wedges.

Now, I just eat sliced cheese most days (the Cracker Barrel type, not sandwich slices).

I may change soon to ham and cheese rolled up...that's sounding god to me today.

I typically eat deli turkey or ham for breakfast as I eat at work.  This has more to do with timing, as I want my cup of coffee first, and then don't have the extra 30 minutes to wait to eat , eat, and then get to work on time.  So I have to have something easily transportable.  And, sigh, I am one of the few who actually do not like cheese.

On the weekends, I try to fix a hot breakfast.  This weekend I'm going to try a pancake recipe that uses pork rinds as the "flour."  Wish me luck!
