Atkins and Low Carb Weight Loss
***Tuesday 1-11-11 CAR
Oh Becky. So sorry your day did not go as well as you would have liked.
Mine started out depressing when I felt that I was both snow and iced in. But the ice started melting and the boss threatened to send someone to pick me up for work. So off to work I went and started feeling alive again. I need human interaction with many in order to feel complete, so once I was working I was feeling much better.
Food was a little odd today, but I was able to adapt to the situations:
1/2 of a 3 egg, ham and cheese omlet
Fajita taco salad tossed the shell
Adkins brownie
shrimp ****tail
almonds
protein drink
I had lots of flavored water, protein coffee and unsweetened tea throughout the day.
Although I didn't count the actual carbs, I believe I kept it on the low carb side.

Hey, I'm sorry for all of you freezing folks. Not too cold here in Northern California in comparison to you all.
Dropping both carbs and caffiene yesterday left me prowling around today hoping to find something to eat/drink. Thankfully I went to the office really prepared to tackle the day successfully. Doesn't mean I wasn't eyeing everyone else's carbs and coffee. :)
I think I'm still eating more because my body hasn't started converting to fat burning yet. Hopefully tomorrow I won't be as hungry.
B. Bacon, Bodytech protein pudding w/almond milk - 7 carbs
L. Homemade chicken salad - 2 carbs
D. Ribeye steak - 0
S. 2 nip's candies - ACK - 11 carbs
Calories - 1,085
Protein - 96
Carbs - 20
I just scheduled my 1 year appointment with my surgeon for February 17th. I really want some pounds off. Any constructive comments are totally appreciated! :)

Carbs are mainly sugar alcohols. Ratios are off because fats are low.
- pork skins, liverwurst, mocha with almond milk, 2 protein bars
- shirataki noodles and teriyaki sauce, popsicles, mocha with almond milk, 2 protein bars
- steak, 2 protein bars
- fried chicken wings, mocha, 2 protein bars
Out of quick foods. Its real meals and induction starting tomorrow.

S: 1 Oh Year protein wafer
L: low carb pepperoni pizza
D: 1/2 c brown rice (couldn't resist), ground beef sauteed w/ peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes and topped with parmesan
S: peanut butter
54 carbs - more than I like to have but under 60 which is my limit. It was nice to have a low carb torilla for a change.
