I've recently found Blue Diamond "bold" flavored almonds to be an awesome replacement for chips. They come in flavors like Habanero BBQ (SUPER YUMMY), Salt 'n Vinegar, Soy Sauce and Wasabi, etc. They're 6g protein and 5g carbs (3g of which is fiber, so only 2g net carbs) per serving (I personally eat 2 servings at a time, and it helps me get a little boost of fiber).

You could also try pork rinds or baked cheese or pepperoni chips.

Really trying hard to get in the veggies and reduce fat a little ...

B:  Veggie omelet with cheese, and coffee with protein RDT as creamer
Snack: nope!
L:  Queso Fresco, heated and served with warm marinara
Snack: Soy nuts -- I was shopping in Whole Foods and bracing against eating impulsively, so I got this!
D:  Chobani 2% yogurt
     Pub Cheese

Snack:  Greens with mushrooms and onions, pressure-cooked in 5 minutes.

Omigosh I love my pressure cooker!

87 gm protein and
26 net carbs

It's disturbing to me that this seems to be my "critical carb level" -- no losses in over a week!

I'm going to post a whiny "why am I stalling" post soon!

It looks like I'm going to be a day late this week because I'm out of town (Vegas) with my DH. He's at training and I'm vacationing! The hotel charges $13.95/day for internet access so needless to say I have to seek out free wifi (at Panera this AM). BTW, it's sooo cold here...we're usually here when it's 120!

~Sunday~

B - 2 oz carnitas, 1 cup coffee (4)
S - pork rinds, protein bar (3)
L - 4 oz bacon cheeseburger (bunless)
S - 1 1/2 oz almonds (10)
D - "protein style" cheeseburger (6)

Net total carbs = 23 grams

Water - 8 cups
Vitamins - taken
Exercise - walking the Vegas strip

Hi!

1 scrambled egg
3 atkins bars
4 ozs belly pork
4 ozs lamb
4 ozs all-meat sausage
half pint coffee with milk
fruit teas with sweetener (no carbs)

May very well cut down on the meat tomorrow, been stufffed all day!
