Jodi,

I know, I love that faux french toast too. I made it for my skeptical daughter this morning and she loved it too!

Good question, weekends can be harder but if I'm prepared they aren't too bad. I do have more trouble remembering to drink water but food choices are usually OK.

B - 1 scrambled egg, prime rib, 2 cups coffee w/half & half (6)
S - 1 oz almonds, sf chocolate, roasted seaweed (6)
L - 1 chicken breast, loco salad w/creamy cilantro dressing (4)
S - Atkins bar, more coffee w/half & half (7)
D - crockpot carnitas w/sour cream (4)

OMG, the pork (carnitas) turned out soooo good!!! It was my first try at making them and they really exceeded my expectations, plus the house smells heavenly!!!

Total net carbs = 27 grams

Water = 6 of 8 cups (or more)
Vitamins = taken
Exercise = not today :(

Yes weekends are harder BUT I think it's okay to deviate from my plan a little once in a while. It's the all the time overeating that got me into trouble! I read a meditation recently about how it's good to stray from your plan periodically because then when we go back to it, it's with renewed commitment.

That said....

B: decaf coffee, 1/2 butter croissant, summer sausage, mozzarella
L: salad, roast beef, smoked turkey, muenster cheese, Italian dressing
D: pepperoni pizza made with a low carb tortilla

Not too bad!

Have a great night y'all!!

Peace & Love, Donna K.

Weekends are harder -- At work, my eating fits into an artificial schedule.  I cannot eat more frequently than every two, three hours.  But at home -- the kitchen is always just a few steps away!

B:  Veggie omelet with cheese and coffee with evaporated milk
Snack:  Fried queso fresco with warm marinara MMMmmmmmmm
L:  Fage yogurt and some cheddar cheese
Snack:  2 cups decaf using Atkns shake as creamer
D:  Low-carb tortilla with cheese, guacamole, salsa

This doesn't look too bad to me! 12% carbs and still 118g protein - not too shabby, my friend  :)

Please share your recipe for Faux French Toast.  I believe I have seen it before but can not recall the location...................Thanks so very much.

You look like a friend of mine who died tragically from breast cancer leaving four small children. I miss her so much.

Faux french toast is simple IF you can find the right cheese. Only queso blanco has worked for me. The other Mexican cheeses melt.

Fry slices of queso blanco in butter
Sprinkle with splenda and cinnamon
Top with SF syrup.

Enjoy!!!
