We'll see - I came up WAY short on water for the day. That's my biggest challenge on the weekends.
Weekends are definately harder for me, especially when my husband is out of town. My
usual days when he is gone is filled with my favorite candy accompanied by a chick flick.
So today I slept in (very rarely get enough sleep, insomniac), got up had some almonds
and crystal lite. Nothing else and now it's 5pm and I've decided to STAY HOME away from
the temptation of going to the store for the candy. I am having scrambled eggs with green
peppers and cheese for dinner and for a desert later Ricotta cheese doctored up with
sugar free international coffee. I know I haven't eaten correctly today by eating small
amounts every 3 hours but I've stuck to my diet all week and today NO SUGAR TREATS for
me. I've lost one pound this week and I'm happy with that :)

Good for you for avoiding the candy! I find in the early weeks of low carbing that it's SO much easier if you just clear your home of temptations and avoid situations that could cause slip-ups. After a while, it usually gets easier :)
Also, I eat about every 2-3 hours most days. Despite all the docs and nuts that want us to only eat 3 meals, I've read time and time again that eating small meals throughout the day helps to keep your metabolism running a bit better, so don't feel bad about that!

Thank you for your support! I do feel good that I've made a good choice. This is only my
first week eliminating the carbs so I know it will get easier. I've kept a temptation right in
front of me all week and have been just fine. It's a concious mental choice I have to
make. I'm never really hungry, just all in the head. LOL thanks again

I love it here, 9 months of the year, but the winters are killing me. I'm actually moving in 3 weeks back to Alabama (home). If I could live here for 9 months and in Alabama for 3 I'd be happy, but that doesn't seem to be feasible.
I can see myself in the greater Greenville SC area someday. I really like it there, and would be close enough to the mountains to visit in the nice weather!!
