That is a LOT of Atkins bars! I would have had horrible gas from all those sugar alcohols - glad you survived!

Except for a noisy tummy they don't bother me any.  Still way over the top but my sweet tooth was in overdrive.

Does the atkins plan limit the number of sugar alcohols or atkins bars? I try to avoid sugar alcohols whenever possible, so I buy the atkins bars that don't contain them.

Poached egg
4 Ryvita
4 ozs Ardennes Pate with bacon
3 all-meat sausages
4 ozs cheese
2 Atkins bars
2 ozs cream
1 pint skimmed milk
1 ozs butter
Trying to increase my water intake - not taken enough over the last five days.....

I SOOOO want to eat holiday leftovers.  Nect year I've suggested we make a shopping list of the cake etc that needs to be bought, rather than impulse buying.  Lol

I cleaned the carbs out of my house the day I started getting back to basics.

And yes, if you don't drink enough water you are at risk. You need tha****er to flush out all the toxins and stuff you need to get rid of! I actually count my water from time to time, and especially when I am low-carbing.

Thanks for the advice..  I'm afraid I can't rid the house of carbs as my wife and son aren't on Atkins.  I have to try to use willpower Lol!

Tomorrow I will move to as near to zero carbs as possible as my blood sugars have been slowly increasing over the last few days with the milk.  My doctor wants me on at least 40 grms of carbs, he might not get what he wants, as I am determined to stay off Insulin!!

It must be very difficult to have carbs around you and not eat them. I live alone which makes it much easier.

I hope the program you are doing works for you. I don't know very much about diabetes and carbs.

Here goes for my Thursday meals...

B - plain Fage w/stevia & instant coffee, 1 cup coffee (12)
S - piece of 3 kings bread, string cheese (30?)
L - carne asada, salad w/bleu cheese dressing, laughing cow bleu cheese wedge (2)
S - pork rinds, Atkins bar (3)
D - In N Out "flying dutchman" (0)

Total net carbs: 47 grams

Water: 10 cups
Vitamins: taken
Exercise: 1 1/2 miles at an indoor mall

Got home late last night. So here I am a day late again!

B: two eggs, zucchini, cheddar, butter
S: 1/2 Oh Yeah! wafer bar
L: chicken thigh, zucchini/summer squash sautee
S: mozzarella cheese, summer sausage
D: chicken, spinach, mozzarella, parmesan cheese
