Hi friends,

bacon and fried cheese (3)
3 baby bell cheese
5 flourless PB cookies (15)
shake (11)
1/2 c cocoa almonds (12)
shrimp wrapped in cheese and bacon
faux cheesecake (?)
roast chicken
sausage

So that is 41 plus the "cheesecake". I am happy with 75 at this point so I will have my popcorn later.

Vites check. Fluids check. Exercise 0.

I think I am feeling a little better tonight than I did last night. I have an appointment with the pcp tomorrow to get a script for PT for a bum knee.

Today has been dark and rainy, and it's been like one long endless night.  I had dreadful cravings for carbos,  Last Friday I experimented with a light-carb meal, and now I have to go through Induction again (booo!).  On top of that, did not sleep very well last night on account of the death of a not-very-close relative.  And my son left to go back do school.  So it's a cranky cranky day.

Three eggs smothered in hollandaise.  Thank you G-d for hollandaise!  (I also had mushrooms)
Coffee with full cream
An Atkins shake
An Atkins bar
full-cream Camembert
tea with splenda
lemonade with splenda
about three ibuprofens (headache from no sleep, do these have carbs?)
Hamburger patty with ketchup.  I don't really give a f*(() about the carbs in ketchup.  Grrrrrr
I started to eat an onion ring, but spat it out.  I know this is a filthy thing to do, but hey.

I'm going to go snarl at someone.  Are there carbs in vodka?  And if there are calories, do the dang things count?

Hi everyone!

B: two eggs, cheddar
S: a shortbread cookie (damn it!)
L: burger w/ swiss, mushrooms and mayo
S: cup of vegetable beef soup
D: chicken, sauteed zucchini w/ garlic and basil

Not sure of carb grams but pretty good day except for the cookie!  Becky, do you have a recipe for the flourless pb cookies?

Peace & Love, Donna K.

Here are directions for frying Queso Blanco (if it is available in your area)

I also have, in my refrigerator, "frying cheese" from Trader Joe's (it always seems to be SOMEthing from Trader Joe's now, doesn't it?) .... and I will report back when I figure out how to use THAT. Does NOT seem to be Queso Blanco!

ETA -- I just tried the TJ fried cheese with some marinara -- YUMMMMMMM! You just slice it into sticks, fry it in a pan, and prewto, low-carb deliciousness.

DOES have 2 gm carbsw/serving though, so possibly not a great induction choice.
