We're a small group of friends and co-workers who try our best to encourage each other. Some of us have had WLS and others are just trying to lose weight on their own. This group was created to give African-Americans a voice and support when it comes to weight loss issues.

This support group is for pre-ops and post-ops in the Miami County and surrounding areas. Anyone is welcome and is designed to help those who have questions, fears, accomplishments, goals,and ideas about weightloss. We are a group of Losers who didn't start our weight loss journey as a race. We strive for our journey to become a way of life. We leave the racing to Nascar drivers.

This group is for anyone who is interested in learning about wls or has had banding or bypass. Support persons are welcome. We have  members at all stages in the weight loss journey.
