I want to start a support and information group for those attending the Ottawa Civic Weight Management Clinic. The process to weight loss surgery can be complicated and full of obstacles. It's important to know everything about the process and what to expect. My hope is that people in Ottawa can share their experiences and be open about answering questions to help others.

Our group so far has been very friendly and helpful as some of us are new and some are experienced. Having done their surgerys in the past they come to help others which is so great and caring we even have a small group taking part in exercise together. Living in the North end has been rough, with the closest support group being in Edmonds. This group is designed to give people from Marysville, Everett, Snohomish, Monroe, Lake Stevens, Arlington and the greater Snohomish County a place to talk and listen, to share and support. It is our goal to create a safe and fun environment for you to get information, compassion and support.
