Thanks! I had heard water aerobics and swimming help a lot too. I want to see how far I can go without plastic surgery.

Cardio and weight lifting are the best means of toning.  I cannot really speak about long term because I am only 9 months out.  The way that I figure is the first year is about weight loss and year 2 is about toning.  That is why I decided not to think about plastic surgery until 2 years out.  I think any type of exercise is better than nothing at all.  Just remember it will not happen over night and will take time.

Hey all.. I'm curious about exercise and what any of you have found to be the best help for toning as you lose. What works for you?

That is wonderful to here.  I live in Davidson County and have two kids that attend Metro schools that is the reason I was asking.  It is a wonderful feeling with kids are so supportive.  I look forward to hearing more from you throughout your journey.

 Thank you, Terri!
I teach at Una Elem. in Antioch. I've been there 10 yrs now and have been teaching for 25. I love what I do. it keeps me young and now I'll be able to enjoy more things with my students. They have been my biggest cheerleaders in this journey so far!
