Thanks for your response back.   I think this is a very important part of the journey that sometimes gets over looked while causing large amounts of stress on the relationship.  I know that I have struggled with this through my journey.  I would love to hear from others concerning this topic.

Topic: Support Mean to you
I want to encourage everyone to check out obesityhelp on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/obesityhelp.

There is a section that talks about what Support Group means to you.  I wanted to share with you my comment that I added about support group.  I want to let each and everyone of you know how much you mean to me and my progress.

"I see two sides to my support group, basically a leader and a patient side. From a leader side, my support group means that I get to help people and encourage them to become successful in their journey. On the patient side, my support group is my life vest. It helps keep me focused on my body mentally and physically. Without it, I would sink back into old negative habits. Finally, my support group is much more than going to a meeting and just listening. It is everything and person around me that helps keep me focused on where I was, where I am, and where I am headed."

Topic: Relationship Impacts
I have been think about a topic to discuss within this group.  So today at my annual physical, there was a question asked to me about the impact this journey has had on my relationship with my spouse.  I was wanting to get input from other people to have had the surgery on how it has impacted your relationship and also wanted to see if people that are planning to have surgery have taken this into consideration.  I will wait to see responses before I give you details on how this has impacted me and my relationship.

Topic: RE: Questions Anyone???
Glad to hear you are at home and doing well.  Just remember to keep moving and the gas (funny feeling) in her tummy will get better.   If you can drink warm tea it will make the sinus drainage better.  it too will get better over time.  I am so glad that you are doing good.  Please keep us posted.

Well I had my surgery and am home recovering now. I feel good, but also feel like I have a lump in my tummy.. not sure if i is gas or what.. seems to feel better when I move around. The sinus drainage is making me feel full too.
