Those darn Girl Scout cookies! DH has been making a wide berth around their table at the food store and was relieved when they weren't there today (since the scouts are in school).

212.1 - a well deserved up tick in weight today. While I didn't eat much, I must confess that there were baked goods yesterday! I slice of pumpkin bread and half a chocolate chip cookie from Panera. Neither of which were planned. Then my beloved went and bought Girl Scout cookies from a scout either in front of the supermarket or at church. I didn't ask which. So, I believe I had 4 Toasty something cookies (I think they are new this year....) He also bought gluten free chocolate chip GS cookies. I couldn't even eat a full one. It's a lesson in what a cookie should not be - it occurred to me that it is what a baked vomit puck would taste like...
RV was fetched and all but one garage compartment has been emptied. That won't take much time at all this afternoon. Then tomorrow it's off to the dealership to sell it on the lot. I'm going to take a hit on the sale price, but I have resigned myself to that and made peace with it.
I am at the stage of pre retirement at which I feel like my last day can not come soon enough. I know it will fly by, but May 30th feels like it is very, very far off in the future right now. I think, like DD, I'm a little tired of the BS that comes with the job, but I remind myself it's the last time each time something tedious or superfluous comes up. I am also self pitying because I am the only one of my immediate family/friend pack who still is gainfully employed and must get up and report for duty each day. Poor me.... LOL
Magnificent Monday to one and all....

Is that a friendly 'gator I spy smiling at the camera from behind those water rushes front right? Lovely picture..almost inspires me to take up a club (not). Tried it several times over the years and there is something jacked with my skeleton that prevents proper positioning of wrist/elbow/shoulder and screws up the swing. Same thing goes with a soft ball bat and impossible to rotate elbows in while digging a volleyball.
Lazy day-zee Monday sounds delightful. Do it and enjoy. Plans for myself include drawing class (please let's be moving past the messy charcoal; don't mind it till I have to clean up the inevitable black fallout it causes at home). Might stop by far and home store and look for a proper t post pounder. DH has always put the posts in with a sledgehammer. When I think about his inevitable one-of-these-days missing the mark and swinging through and int to his legs, well the picture isn't a pretty sight.
Snow is off the ground and a muddy but happy Swanny to deal with later. Oh, well...time to take out some of his undercoat for Spring anyways.
Been thinking of Ann's "list of things to be sure to do if you want to relapse weight wise". Funny (not) how those behaviors slip and slide back into my life....Inventory time for sure.
Out the door with me...have a good one, folks!

Yesterday's golf with DH was good but slow. They allow golfers to walk the course (no cart) after 3 on weekends and it got all backed up. We combined the last few holes with the guy behind us. The holes are really far apart so it takes a while to get between them. They either need to only allow walkers after a certain time or spread the tee times further apart. I wouldn't mind walking it on a nice day but it needs to be timed better. I bettered my best previous game by 8 strokes over 9 holes. The new clubs seem to part of the reason I am improving.
Possibly a day with nothing on the calendar as it is supposed to rain a lot and water aerobics will likely be cancelled. I am kind of hoping for a cancellation though we didn't get to do it Saturday as the water was too cold (the heater had stopped working). We all went including the instructor bu****er in the low 70's is just too cold. Today I just feel like being lazy - food shopping maybe and finishing up some sewing.
Have a magnanimous Monday!
Another part of the golf course (took this while waiting 10 minutes at one of the holes):

Greatly needed homework assignment - will get on it posthaste. Thanks!
Sounds very similar, although I never had a high fever, 100.1. I still don't have my voice back entirely. I hope the antibiotics give him some relief.

Claudia had a cataract done last fall and still needs glasses for the other eye for some things. She had transitions lenses so when she wears the one lens glasses and goes outside she looks like a pirate!
I TOTALLY understand!

That just happened- I started trying to maintain at 125 - weirdly my body decided on something a bit lower (even though I wasn't trying to lose anymore)

So excited for your nephew and his wife. And love how you helped them get here
