Liz, you are one of the busiest retired people I know!
This morning it's barely snowing. I'm doubting we'll get more than another 1-2 inches today to add to the 7 inches we got yesterday. Louisville's snow services are better than I'd expected, based on the city's map of snow removal (salting, plowing) done thus far. Today there's no school and no garbage removal, and (based on last night's scheduled but no-show delivery of a rug we bought online) UPS and FedEx are also taking some time off. Even got a text over the weekend from my dry cleaners saying they'll be closed today. But Kroger is open, so all is good.
I'll suit up again midday and head out with my poles for one of the Poles.
And as a cold weather coda, this morning I weighed 127, which I'd be so happy to weigh for the rest of my life! Looks like my new set-point-in-progress is 125-130. One of my best long-term post VSG habits is weighing and posting my weight on My Fitness Pal nearly every day.

119.4 - sinking back down again
We were very tired after the long weekend and drive but DH slept well and me not so much. He was sound asleep by 9:15 but I read until 10, then lay awake until around 12. Woke up at 2 for a while, then woke up again and couldn't shut off my mind at 5, so got up at 5:30. Hopefully I can correct tonight. Two things were active in my mind: how early I could pick up Justice and how to make a modification in the hanging areas in my walk-in closet. I will call and check on pick-up at 7 - closet after water aerobics.
Yesterday it was very calming and beautiful at the Ritz pool but once the cabanas were in the shade it was freezing. We were happy to leave at 3. Dropped off DSD and grandchildren at the airport and we were home by 6 (an hour too late to pick up Justice). Nice weekend but it is good to be home and we are looking forward to a week with no company.
Today are the activities mentioned above plus a seminar on golf rules this afternoon. It's busy being a retired person.
Have a meticulous Monday!

I haven't a clue! I also googled it and found other forums where someone questioned it but there were no answers. Someone wondered whether it was excluding transgendered people. Weird.

Yay for easier remote retrieval!

The DJs at the 2 pools we visited on Saturday were playing the thumpy techno stuff - young crowd. But I didn't mind it. Yesterday at the Ritz it was a completely different vibe. DSS had rented 2 cabanas and we had an attendant coming by pouring mimosas and bringing fruit. The music was very calming and ethereal.
Going out in the day can be much easier than nighttime even here, but hard to get much accomplished afterwards LOL.

I did Google lens and all I could find was that this means ADA compliant. So still confused...
Greetings all
Overcast but dry today. I am enjoying a sliced apple with peanut butter. Apples are super filling so good way to avoid crackers.
I did my daily waddle at the gym. Up to 17 minutes after a start at 10. It was a busy place today but nothing too interesting except that the elevator sign has always puzzled me. I will post it and see if anyone can 'splain it.
Beef pot pie tonight. It's just like a chicken pot pie but with beef. Not cottage pie though that sounds good. A winter comfort food.
Enjoy the snow, those of you who can. Years ago I used to get out my cross country skis and go down the boulevard in my street. Lots of work. Ann I hope your snow is not too deep to walk in. Paula and DD hope it's not too terrible. The worst part of snow is when it gets slushy on the roads and then freezes again at night into Oregon trail road ruts. And ice storms. Stay warm all.
Paula I hope your DD gets over the respiratory stuff. Hoping it's timed so he is over it before the airplane ride. RX: sun and surf.
Wow Peps is killing it at the big dog shows. Yay. And looking quite sharp in the process.
Point of progress: last night the tv remote somehow got under the bed and I had to get down on the floor to retieve it. The progress is that getting up off the floor was easier than it used to be.
Still struggling with the gallery lease. Might just have to ignor it for awhile.
Cheers all. Diane S
