Greetings all
Rainy grey day here. Welcome to northern cal. It makes you feel like staying in bed all day. I don't wake up well without the sun.
So today's mission is more laundry, gym and store. I did 15 minutes at the gym which felt like plenty. I don;t know how people run for hours and hours. I drive to the next town for groceries because the Safeway here is so crappy. Zero service. Forced myself to buy some spinach and mushrooms so we can say we eat some vegetables. DH is AWOL so I get to control the tv.
Enjoy the game Liz. Hope the clouds hold. Intense sun can be brutal. And hmm, if you dream of roast beef maybe you should eat some. Yay for the household helper.
Weird dreams all! No clue what they mean except dreams are often something that is bugging me. Like junk accumulation.
Just had a glass of milk and one cookie. Feeling very full.
Peps! The incredible shrinking man. Hope you are indeed having puppies.
Enjoy the theatre DD. Sounds like a good time.
GL Paula with getting garden help.
And Kudos on your pub crawl Ann and the fact that your niece is such a worthy addition to the planet.
Speaking of additions, our expectant niece is now visibly pregnant. good sign. She craves cookie dough.
So I have mentioned this guy who rides his horse around town while looking at his cell phone. The other day he was spotted riding his horse through the Starbuck's drive through. Not sure what they ordered.... hay frappe.

I prefer my dream - weird as it was! I think your dream was more than disconcerting! YIKES!
Must have been the morning for dreams. Mine was a little disconcerting. I dreamt I was diagnosed with liver cancer (DH just told me yesterday a coworker?s sister was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer and is only in her 40s). I asked how long I had and they answered, not long. I said, weeks?, months? and they just answered yeah! I was mostly sad that my kids would lose both of their parents way too soon! Let?s keep that one in the dream world and not have it be a reality!
Just reading about your dream is entertaining! Lots of imagery and symbolism there.
I'm wondering how your niece did, was she able to keep up the pace? But as they say, go big or go home. Is it even a Pub Crawl if you don't feel destroyed in the morning?
Liz, I'm guessing that you Miami game will be warmer than my Minnesota Gophers game. Have fun!
Operation house clean got a lot done. Deep cleaned the kitchen (which took hours) the dining room, the living room and foyer. After hours of getting up and down from my step stool, I pooped out, so we didn't get to the bathrooms. We'll each do one this week. Part of cleaning was dealing with the pantry cupboard. All tidied up, and items that had been languishing got tossed. I gave myself permission to throw away many items such as old vases with hard water marks and stained tea towels. I do my best to recycle and donate when I'm purging, but some stuff just has to hit the trash bin.
I thought I would fall asleep early last night after all the physical activity, but I was awake past midnight. I decided it was because the chi released from removing dirt and clutter was zooming around the house. :)
Today is laundry, a smallish paperwork task for work, and then a show at the Guthrie Theater. It's called All The Devils Are Here, and is a one man show about Shakespearean villains. It's had great reviews, and I'm really looking forward to it.
I have SO much paperwork, despite using my paperwork day for the quarter. I decided to use a sick day on Tuesday and get some more knocked back here at home.
