Down another pound. This is crazy! 6 pounds in 9 days! I'm sure it will slow down soon.

Im having a hard time finishing a smoothie. Today I made it with a triple Oikos yogurt, a scoop of whey isolate, ice and 1 cup of almond milk. I maybe drank half and then had to put in the fridge for later. Had a protein bar for lunch and then a Hello Fresh pork bowl (I was able to eat maybe a 1/2 portion. I did have my 2 squares of Lindt 70% dark chocolate. I think I had a hint of nausea today, much like I had in early pregnancy where I just didn't feel much like eating but was far from puking my guts out. Calories just over 1,000 for the day. Still need to add some cardio and resistance training to my getting healthier plan.

We had a hot one today, not much time outside. Got my hair cut in the morning, made a Costco run, DC came over, took a short nap (storms kept me up last night with my high anxiety dog), made dinner and here I am rocking my phone on the couch while DH snoozes by me and DC rocks his phone. I guess I did print off some pictures for an upcoming art fair too today!

OH is giving all kinds of gateway errors...

They emailed me back and they filled my prescription, but Hallandale can't ship to MI, so they are switching me to Empower pharmacy until I get back to AZ. Their shipping is running long (7-9 days) so it will take a little longer. I have an extra week of the 7.5, so it should be okay. I did call the local grocery store (Meijer) and Costco, but they don't have Zepbound in 10mg, so I will stick with the compound for now!

When I changed states, HenryMeds had me meet with a Massachusetts NP to get a new prescription based in Massachusetts.

I feel the same about clothes especially since I am hard to fit! People say, "don't keep them or you're giving yourself permission to go back into them." I don't think that's true. I think we're realistic. Everyone hopes and prays to never need larger pants again, but when you are late for an event and nothing fits, emergency pants are a blessing.

I feel bad for that man's tough start in life, but even more so that he carries bitterness and grievances above all else.

CC, scorpion whisperer. Next time you'll have to give them a different address. Share the scorpion fun.

So much for purging and decluttering, I just returned from shopping again. 3 pairs of pants, a light jacket, a shirt and a dress. I will try to justify these new expenditures by insisting I did indeed need new pants after a 40 pound loss. The dress was just because I wanted it. :)

I know the prevailing wisdom is when you lose weight, purge your too big clothes. After my surgery, I consigned a lot as I moved through sizes. And I do purge frequently because something is showing wear, or doesn't suit me anymore. However, it may be unwise, but I am packing away my too big pants. Nice, well fitting pants are always the struggle as I go up in size. My sincerest hope and desire is to NOT ever need them again, but this journey has shown me that detours happen. So should I have regain, at least my bottom will be covered while I work to lose it again.

My weight is holding steady, I'm working on the protein everyday and trying to challenge myself ( old lady style, nothing crazy) when I work out. I'm feeling really good. Apparently there is something to this healthy eating, adequate sleep and consistent exercise. Who knew?

The workmen were here all day yesterday. But I have a working powder room sink, a non-cracked and painted wall and a new toilet that will take some getting used to.

We had another storm with a quarter inch of rain yesterday. Bring it on, I say. More expected this afternoon.

I need to start packing or at least list making. I am also going to acknowledge that I basically wear the same 6 shirts and 3 shorts every day with flip flops. So that, underwear, pants for cooler days, sweatshirt, jammies, and one or two sun dresses for parties or dinner out will be enough.

The bug guy came today. He does my friend's house right before mine so afterwards we were chatting and have both wondered when we signed up to be his therapist? It's sad, but sort of a drag when you know he's coming over. He's a bitter man and always worried about money. He is often comparing himself to me as, small-world, we are from the same town in CA. Me in the nice part with a probation officer mom, him in the barrio left by his parents to be raised by his grandmother and got into gangs and trouble with the law. One's cir****tances really are just a crap shoot and I am unbelievably grateful for my twist of fate.

Only one scorpion found in a sticky trap in the garage. That's a win, especially since Amy had 2 live ones and 4 dead in her bedroom and master closet. She says I must have sent mine over there...

The scale was up a POUND today. What's up with that? I just answered my monthly email from Emerge asking for 10mg and requesting it go to MI.

Today I need to make some phone calls and I have a board meeting at 3. Hopefully it will be quick.

Take care all!

Down a little bit this morning. (The scale I mean... not mood)

I had a DO NOTHING DAY yesterday. Literally, I got up sat in my chair with my coffee, caught up on email, played some computer games, unpacked, napped, watched a little TV. That was pretty much it! LOL! I will look at it as a RECHARGE DAY. Sounds so much more positive than a DO NOTHING DAY!

Oh, I did complete my passport application! I have an appt. to get my new passport tomorrow. It's a lot cheaper to do it online, but I think it might be less hassle to do it at the Post Office. They know what they are doing. I do not.

I have a client coming at 10. This afternoon I must get the car washed and need to at least get Molly bathed. If it is cooler than yesterday, I will try to get a workout in, too. I have made some progress on my list, but must continue before the summer slips away completely!

BTW - had to look up torsible/torsibility.

CC, I forgot to mention I thought of you while at Disneyland. Kevin was admiring the artificial effluence painted on sections of the fake rock ceilings and walls. I immediately thought of you!

One definitely needs to get in a mindset to do it. If I feel wishy-washy I stop and do something else clear-cut for a while. I am not purging by size, but rather if I have worn it or not for the last 4 years which covers my goal weight range and my regain weight. I too know I have to think about not necessarily staying at the same weight. Shoes are the same way. I still had some clothes and shoes from when I last worked (November 2017) and haven't worn since then - gone!
