My cold seems about the same this morning as yesterday morning so maybe it will stay low-level? I hate being sick and haven't been for a long time. My stamina was a little low yesterday but not terrible and I did the usual stuff.
Younger DD and her SIL went to visit the older DSD in NJ for the weekend. So much fun, though younger DD is still feeling very washed out.
Today DH plays the second game of his 2 day tournament. He didn't do great yesterday but not horrible either. Some of the worse golfers withdrew after yesterday's game. Yesterday I went downtown and poked around while he was golfing, then we went to dinner at the Beach Club where the weather was absolutely perfect and the view was gorgeous. Today I'm not sure what I will do while he plays. We may go to an outside venue for music after he gets done in mid-afternoon. Leftovers for dinner.
But first, the bus leaves at 7:30 for Sunday breakfast. Have a sudden Sunday!

I just do Etsy and art fairs for my fine art photography. Never really looked into consignment at local shops but should consider that once we get to Florida. Or perhaps I'll just hang it up! Not sure if I want to move all of my crap! Lol! I did ask our local Botanical Gardens where most of my floral pics were taken if they would want to carry my cards in their gift shop and was surprised when they turned me down!
The sneakers have real laces. I have 2 pairs, one pair at each house. The second pair I bought through their "rerun" program which are returns that they sell in like-new condition. I saved some money on them and they were truly just as if brand new.
i think some people volunteer for HOA boards because they enjoy enforcing rules (whether they make sense or not). Seems like that sort of person likes the feeling of power. We had a rule in my last place that each person could have one dog and one cat as long as they were under a specified weight and not an excluded breed. One woman who used to help care for an elderly woman ended up with the woman's 2 tiny Yorkshire terriers when she died. They probably weighed 3-4 pounds apiece. She did not have a cat. Someone turned her in for having two dogs so she had to find someone to take one of them. Really? The 2 together weighed less than my one ten pound chihuahua.

Good job on the garage! I thank goodness for my pension and social security too. Hopefully I won't have to touch my other accounts for a while so they can recoup.

I hope you like the chicken marsalla - just be careful with the sauce because sometimes it ends up too thick (but still tastes good).

Tough situation with your friend but in all likelihood she will get over it. Try as best you can to put it out of your mind (I know that is easier said than done).

It usually rains through May in Massachusetts so we aren't going north until the end of the month.

Funny you mention the garage clean out as a workout! Ron was done in by the task. I had to bite my tongue because I didn't feel like we had done anything more than a walk around the block. I'm telling you strength training has its perks! Making household chores easier is one of them!
