Sounds like a relaxing day. Be careful driving and walking on the ice. That's what makes me nervous about cold weather climates. It was 35 here in Albany today with a light snow cover from yesterday. It will get to the teens tonight so the driveway will be slick. Makes me nervous about taking Justice out.

I hope it's not too cold in Albany. Tomorrow low of -4. Brisk. I have a 7:15 am meeting Monday morning, so ill probably get to experience the low temperature in all it's glory. It's snowing lightly here. Just a nuisance snow, but it is making the roads slippery. Once the temperature bottoms out this evening, the chemicals don't work so well, so besides being cold, it will probably be an icy commute tomorrow. But, I am another week closer to retirement, so I can do this!

After coffee, DH and I bought some groceries. With both of us less interested in food, the pickings get pretty slim. And if I don't have something more meal like from time to time, I start to feel depleted. So we are restocked with some foods that are meds friendly, that should keep us fueled up and satisfied.

Time for more paper reading. The Minneapolis paper I can read in under an hohr, but the NY Times takes several hours if I read everything. And I do. :) Some laundry, and that pretty much covers my Sunday plans.

119.8 - I took my evening injection this morning.

Yesterday we mostly accomplished everything on the list excep****er aerobics which was cancelled due to rain. But the rain subsided by 10 so we were able to take Justice for his long walk. We also played 9 holes of golf in the afternoon. I did slightly better than last time. Only 4 more rounds of 9 holes needed to get a handicap assigned LOL.

I was up at 3:30 am, 15 minutes earlier than my alarm was set for. I need to get in the shower at 4, then we leave for the airport at 4:30. In Albany around 10:30 am for 3 days with the grandchildren (in the cold). Hopefully I get my full quota of coffee/protein drink in by the time we leave.

Not much else to report. Have a stunning Sunday!

How very lovely! And your jacket coordinates with the quilt. Rather artistic of you :)

So worth it for piece of mind - hopefully it will never be needed!

You are correct of course on injection timing - I am going to take it before we leave in the morning.

My friend's husband said they will often carry one on a truck, but when defending an entire block of homes, one pump doesn't go far. But one per pool would.

Greetings all

It's sunny and dry here. A blue bird day. But there is wind and makes me worry more about so cal. Talked to brother last night and he was leaving town so that is good news. He was concerned about some valuables at LA place but I say who cares. CC I will mention the gas pump idea for swimming pool water. I bet the fire departments have those down there as there are so many pools, but does not hurt to have your own.

So I am packing up the baby quilt to ship to nephew in so cal. He is safe from fires. Our other nephew is also safe but has a bunch of friends and dogs staying with them who were evacuated. Sounds like a circus and their kids are out of school.

Today's plans are gym, various errands and studio time. It's much more pleasant to be there on a sunny day as my room has big windows. It feels bleak when cloudy.

Got video from my niece and she is doing agility with the puppy she got from us three years ago. Looks like she is catching on finally after a slow start due to attention deficit issues. Fun to watch. Meanwhile another of the puppies will be up here Monday for a beach visit if weather holds.

Not much else. Good to hear from you Bonnie. Leave those lights up. Why not.

Ann $50k???? Your face is priceless but really???

Paula we are enjoying Hawaii vicariously. Live it up.

Does anyone have unflavored protein powder to mix into soup or other stuff? I vaguely remember doing some such thing years ago. Was reminded of it by Lunch Lady yesterday.

Stay warm DD and all. Traditional shopping malls now seem quaint. The big one out here is a ghost town.

Cheers all

Diane S
